Your Byond Key: Symbiosis
Your Character Name: Cliff "Chubs" Campbell
Accused Byond Key(if known): Unsure
Character Name: Varg Liden
Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results): 9/13/18 - 7:30pm
What rule(s) were broken: Rule 15 and Rule 3.
Description of the incident: Varg ahelped if entrapment was illegal then later purposefully laid out donuts with the express intent of trying to catch a Marine eating one so they could arrest the Marine claiming it was theft. Seeing as Donuts are available OUTSIDE the brig the player has no ability to know the food belongs to someone else. This is an intentional act designed to disrupt the operation of the ship and the mission. The player intentionally sought to grief by trying to find ways to arrest Marines who picked up unsecured equipment that is readily available for all Marines.
- Disorderly Conduct Directly and intentionally disrupting primary operations of the ship. Fighting in the RO line, disrupting the briefing. Trying to entrap Marines by leaving donuts on the Alamo and arresting them for eating donuts off the ground.
- He ordered an arrest of ALL Marines on the Alamo - not just the ones who were involved in the fight aboard the dropship.
Prevarication To intentionally order the arrest of a marine who is then found to be innocent, or to apply an improper or abusive NJP.
Later - after trying his shenanigans and having the player base get involved to try to stop him, he was later running around in riot gear/lethal weaponry outside of code blue.
Unauthorized Weapon - Possession of a weapon you are not authorized during a non-emergency situation, detailed as code levels in the Weapon Usage for Crew section below. As code levels decrease in threat, weapons should be stored appropriately and not kept on-person or in personal areas.
Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): Logs will show the ahelp, the interaction with Camil Erin, and the logs will show him picking up a shotgun outside of code blue.
How you would punish the accused: Complete MP/CMP Ban. The player is a argument for reason Rule 15 was added back in and clearly lacks the mentality required to play the role - they specifically attempted to entrap marines to arrest them for picking a donut up off the ground IN THE DROPSHIP.

Re: Player Report Varg Liden
I ahelped before the sting operation and the mod that replied said that it was NOT entrapment, that it was okay to do. I also clearly labeled the box ”PROPERTY OF VARG LIDEN. DO NOT STEAL”. Also, I got riot gear because I thought that the marines were rioting so I got riot gear. I was unable to know that the sitution had calmed because my radio was stolen.

Re: Player Report Varg Liden
Since this has already been resolved by me to a degree, I'll lock this post pending manager review.
I do want to note a number of things however. That is while they shouldn't have done any of that, the marine reaction was overall as terrible as what the CMP did. You are also the one who started punching the CMP first there.
Because marines decided to do nothing other than punch the CMP a huge brawl broke out, more MP's had to get involved and the commander made the decision to try and BE someone during all of that which resulted in a major disruption to the operation. This was caused by the marines decisions to go punch out with the CMP rather than ahelp as a few did, and was collectively as much and more a problem than the CMP was in the round.
If they had ahelped from the start then one person could have been slept and handled, but the decision of many was to get involved so I had left it in IC and gave messages to cut it out as it was dying down.
I suggest actually trying to ahelp instead of joining in on this kind of thing in the future, as it ends up being grief in response to grief and should receive the respective punishment.
