ERT Responders

Post by IrishCow » 17 Sep 2018, 23:16

I was curious about the two responder factions that I haven't seen in game before, those being The Iron Bears, and Dutch's Dozen. Have they just been removed from the game or have I just never seen them?

i thought that using the Iron Bears from the AVP games was neet, and I get the reference that of what Dutch's Dozen is from (Predator of course), I was just confused why they are not around anymore?

I figured that was the case, I was just confused why they are still on the wiki?

Is Deathsquad even still in the game? I havnt seen it roll for a long long time.

I can still remember the one round i got to be one and we fucking kicked ass and wiped the marines/xenoes so professionally.
Max Dallas has been hit in the chest by the M40 HEDP grenade.

I will murder you Brittany Breeze

"It was a fantastic round. If the CO hadn't cryo'ed before the end I'd have bothered him to give at least two more medals. To PFC Max Dallas, who kept doing the path between the frontlines to FOB (the only place with medical aid) with a roller bed, and saved a lot of marines who'd have husked otherwise. And to Dr. Haley Altman, who after all medics were gone was fixing us time and again for hours straight. At the end there were over 10 patients around her either dead or in crit, and she just kept going."

Deathsquad is admin only and is basically just a tool to murder marines, so you're more likely to see a clf squad actually accomplish anything.

Dutch's Dozen seems like i'd be pretty fun in Predator rounds (just to spam lines from the movie and compete for the best Arnold impression)

I'm guessing they are just the Freelancers now?

Dutch's Dozen are used occasionally in events by admins. Admin only now so no ERT. Though I believe Spooky said he was working on ERT and round end in general so we may have some new ERTs to look forward to

When the lore revamp happened on the journey to the Almayer the Iron Bears were removed in favour of the UPP in hopes that players playing as the new UPP would be less memeical (and for the most part it worked) then the current at the time Iron bears who spouted such great lines as "Rush B" and every other sentence containing the word vodka. The dutch's dozen were removed as they also no longer made sense in the new landed lore that was written up especially with the timeline. Like it states just under the special factions title they can still be used for admin events.
