Description of the incident: He threw eggs at me and I hit him twice. He and half of delta squad followed me and he (Vinjar Thjalfisson) shot me with AP rounds enough times to mess me up and give me brain damage, a fucked up skull, and probably other shrapnel wounds (I don't remember) till someone knocked him over. I had plenty of time to retaliate but chose not to, I thought admins would deal with him. I AFKed and went to smoke while a medic from my squad patched me up and when I came back the dude was saying "I dare you", or "I double dare you", I don't remember what it was exactly. To summerize, he threw fucking eggs at me, got mad I hit him, so he sprayed me with m39 ap rounds, and when I came back he taunted me, I was having a pretty shit day but this was it. I finally snapped and turned on three round burst and shot the asshole up until he fell to the floor. He tired to retaliate but failed like the worm he is, probably at which point he decided to bitch about it.

Best part is the delta SL came in and started stabbing me after I surrendered and got cuffed. I would have normally accepted a note for being a asshole and fucking up a shitler, but this is too much. Two rounds in a row people beat my squad down (A alpha smacked down my aSL till he was unconcious when we first deployed cause he wanted to move past him) with almost no reprocussion so I finally snapped after having a long and shitty day IRL.


Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): I messaged Imperator_Titan ASAP. I couldn't take pictures because I decided to write this player report when I was told I was getting a note, which was past when the chat logs were gone.

How you would punish the accused: None, he probably learned his lesson. If not I'll let you deal with him next time. I just want my note removed.

Since there's situations where rules about attacking eachother are allowed to be broken staff will generally not get involved unless someone ahelps about the situation at hand.

When you're being griefed don't grief back, Ahelp and let us deal with it, Griefing back only makes you equally guilty as the person who griefed you first.

Plus we generally don't remove notes for any reason.

I was there and I believe Luftcommando already handled this. As soon as you ahelped we were going to message you, and you ended up generating at least 10+ combat logs on the guy.

Its probably not even worth mentioning this at all anymore considering that most of us accept your verdict, but I happen to more inebriated than usual today so I'm going to bitch about this. I used to be a mentor and I read plenty of Pban threads about people that got banned for having excessively long notes, and one thing they had in common was that they had LOTs of warnings. These boys fucked up so many people's rounds and all they got was warnings and temp bans before a final Pban. Their victims didn't get Ahealed immediately so they couldn't carry out their round and had to spend a shitload of time getting treated. It's an understandable thing too, considering that you guys have to investigate it first before healing. So with my 9001 IQ I decided to blast the asshole instead of letting him ruin my round. If I was going to waste 30 minutes and be called a pussy for it he's going to waste 30 minutes too.

The round in question was a bit chaotic and me and LuftKommando were the only mods on at the time. The problem we had with what you did was as soon as you filed your ahelp I was about to mark it and handle it, and you opened up on the guy. You generated more logs for us which means we had to do more investigating. Anyway I still believe this was handled by LuftKommando with the other guy and you if I remember correctly

This has already been dealt with in-game by LuftKommando so tell me why are you reporting this again because reporting this to get a note removed is in the wrong section because you are questioning the Moderators ability to deal with the situation.

Right, this is way too late and I apologize about that.

The reason you were noted, and the reason I stand behind, is because of that second attack after the verbal calling out. The first incident was alright in terms of escalation. He threw eggs at you, you hit him with a baseball bat, then an AP burst was applied to the head. That would have been fine and dandy if it had ended there. It was only when he taunted you and you responded with several bursts that I considered it a gross overreaction and therefore deserved a note. Like Adralimas says, just AHelp and let whoever it is you think is griefing move on. Whoever is online at the time will take care of the situation.

I can assure you, you were completely in the wrong. Not only did the supposed player you reported NOT shoot you at all, having only thrown eggs, you decided to shoot him multiple times. Textbook improper escalation on your end, no matter the reasoning. The note will stick and the reported won't receive any punishment.

Resolved - Note will remain. Accused will not be punished.
