Description of the incident: I am playing as a MP.. there was a marine law violator a medical researcher. who go through planetside without permission to higher ups (commander)... and i was right beside the criminal when that happen.. after we both return on amalyer.. I did the arrest with procedure.. telling him to go on the floor, telling what is the reason for his arrest. but the medical researcher run away from me
i chase him and taze him..i bring him to CiC and inform the commander one more time if he really got a permission.. and the commander tell me to give him njp... i went to brigs to give the medical researcher a NJP i strip his clothes take a picture then release him...

the moderator name Mizari ask me what happen.. I explain to him the story, gave me a warning.. i told him about what is the problem..he said that i didnt go to "procedure". and my NJP was wrong..
I just follow what's written on marine law.. but the wiki written about the NJP is vague so im not quite sure.. how to give the criminal an NJP.. it was not written what should i do specifically.
now because of the NJP im about to FACE pernamentban.. because the moderator upgrade my violation to server rule 1.. ERP i am.. upset i feel like..i was killed

Ok so as I already explained to you, you're actions and the NJP you decided to take was borderline on breaking Rule 1. No erotic content or roleplay. As such you were given the benefit of the doubt and warned. You did indeed break said marine law proceedures by issuing a NJP which involved you stripping a marine naked and taking pictures of them naked. This I consider illicit content that you planned to distribute to the squads of the Almayer. The rules clearly state this cannot happen in regards to what you did....I could of issued a ban for said actions but I gave you the benefit of the doubt.

You also had the audacity to say to me: Are you even a Moderator, you haven't checked the logs or anything. It was the Commander who ISSUED the marine with a NJP that reported this to staff and even told you to stop as it was abuse of your position. Only when I intervened did you let the researcher go after taking the pictures. You're attitude and disregard for the rules is not really good in my books.

I also want to point out you've skipped a lot of our conversation which I'm sure someone will gladly post the rest of, seeing as I'm involved I will allow another staff member to do so. You are reporting me for not investigating the issue yet you clearly can see at the end of our conversation I had all the information I needed to tell you, that you were in the wrong. You're upset because you broke a rule and got caught out, being ignorant of our rules is not a pass to do what you did.

I was the player who ahelped initially while observing. For Marine Law, I didn't see you follow the first step of arrest procedure "Verbally inform the suspect you are taking them into custody and the charge.", and I didn't see it in my chat history, so I ahelped the manner so you could be reminded.

I also witnessed the talk with the CO and the NJP, and while I personally believe the NJP fell under the "This is not to be confused with distasteful but acceptable marine bravado such as scratching your crotch or cup-checking." clause of Rule 1, it came off as kinda creepy and not at all within the limits of what an NJP is suppose to be.

It is my opinion as a player that Mizari handled the situation appropriately, and from what I was able to observe during the round, resolved the issue.

I'm fairly certain in all if not almost all cases involving taking pictures of someone naked it would be considered erotic, Not to mention being entirely off the ball on what an NJP Should be.

An NJP Is asking someone to run twenty laps around the upper almayer or do fifty pushups during briefing or temporary reassignment and or demotion from your department.

Any ERP or even borderline ERPish style stuff can get you straight to a permaban request without even prior warnings if it's bad enough, Zero tolerance is zero tolerance for a reason.

Personally i would suggest just being thankful that you weren't hammered much, Much harder for this.

I was the Commander of this round and yeah since Percy Watkins issue was not really big deal and Ela Trinity arrest him for going planetside(maybe) and the MP bring Percy Watkins at CIC and I ask for explanation what really happened. Since it's a low crime so i gave him a NJP but I didn't expect that MP is going to abuse.. taking pictures while Percy is naked. Really a high ERP that's what I've seen when I went to brig.

If you are upset for breaking the ERP rule, then I am more upset what you did last night because i saw you having fun while taking pictures for a naked body which is a high ERP for me. In this situation, you should be perma tbh.

No idea what you expected. You should be happy that a ban wasn't placed. I'm quite sure it doesn't take a genius to realize that taking pictures of a naked person as an MP under the guise of a NJP isn't something we want here.
