Stick with a carrier/Praetorian so they can combat hug/block off the escape of the marine you lunge grab. Carrier is obviously better if you want captures, and a praetorian is good for the ungas who rush the warrior to cuckshot it, they'll all get stunned and turn into free kills if you act on it.
Not the best caste in the world, but serviceable.

Re: how do I git good as warrior?
Try and get good as Lurker instead, because Warrior is a bit pathetic atm.
If you still want to learn Warrior, get good at middle clicking (shift clicking if you're into that) a moving target while moving around yourself. Also, know that if you're going against 2+ marines, don't try to lunge as it will be your death. Spam fling, or go on agility mode and do the ol' kite 'n slash.

I dont really play warrior much, but if you didnt know you can pull marines limbs off when you have them grabbed. Thats about all I can contribute.

Re: how do I git good as warrior?
tbh devs should combine punch and fling into one move and remove the grab completely

Re: how do I git good as warrior?
This only proves how bad you are,
Warrior is one of the better T2s, you literally have a stunlock ability, punch that goes through armor and fling to get rid of marines or to throw the ones you grabbed behind your lines.
If you can't use lunge properly don't bother playing them.
And yes, I play xenos.

Rip the heads off the specs you capture, have a runner or lurker to tackle spam while you rip their head off, especially the B18
Use lunge, switch to other hand and SLASH SLASH SLASH.

Re: how do I git good as warrior?
I call myself a warrior main, most of the rounds that I play, I always reach ancient/elder very easily. Fling is a totally useless ability, punch is good, but makes you click away from your lunge ablity (maybe with macros it will be worth it.) And as other people said, lunge, change hand and slash. Aim to the shotgunners specially, grab em and drag. If marines are shooting at you, drop your target and let them soak the bullets. Pull back, run away. You are squishy. Use your lunge ability to grab marines in corners and pull them back. Always attack in groups. Alone you are useless. Sentinels/spitters are great companions, they spit a marine and you drag the other. You cant solo Marines, as they are faster than you (unless in speed mode) use control+click if you are in melee range, not lunge.
Finally, I have found shift+click works better than middle click.
Short version: Learn to aim, wait for marines to stand still in the corners. Go for em. Aim for shotgunners/specs/medics. And you are squishy as hell. M4s aint shit to you, but shotgunners melt you. Your main advantage are the corner grabs.

Re: how do I git good as warrior?
Instead of using disarm intent, use grab intent.
Normal grabs are actually lunges for Warrior, so you can instantly stun anyone in a melee without having to Lunge.
Try to go for flanks and lonely marines. Never flank unless you're Elder+ or have support.
If you're frontlining, use Punch instead of lunge, and aim for people's chests. You can damage organs and bones, and the chest has ALOT of both. Also it ignores armour, so don't worry about it.
Other than that... just wait for a buff, really.

Re: how do I git good as warrior?
All the tips pretty much nail it, but I think the Warrior playstyle psychology here must be stressed a bit more. Despite having a bit more armor and a loud name, by yourself and against superior numbers you fare worse than lurker. You're slightly slower even when on all fours, you have lower DPS due to longer attack cooldown and a big fat sprite that's easy to click for shotgunners. The caste generally boils down to well-placed hit-and-run punches, timely stunning and dragging people away in mass combat for your sisters to kill, and utter devastation in 1v1.
General consensus is fight loners by yourself, and everyone else with allies.
And honestly, lurker is just a different playstyle that requires good reflexes and clicking on the move, while warrior is a more tactical choice, you need to know where you need to be and have ice in your veins to find and exploit every weakness and opportunity you can find.
More tips:
- Pulling (ctrl click) while on two automatically grabs instead of simply pulling, you can use it after successfully tackling a marine to stun another one. Pullgrabs are considered lunges though, so watch the cooldown. Fling+pullgrab is a goodmixup if you're quick enough.(already mentioned, but not many warriors use it, so remember to!)
- Limbs are broken with a punch, while torso and head only have 50 percent chance of breaking.
- Ripping off heads takes way more time than with limbs, either slash the guy into paincrit without killing him (breaking bones with punch if you have the time and plasma), or get someone to stun him throughout.
- A good idea for capturing is to rip off a limb or two and devour so that even in a nest they'd have no chance of escape. Just don't rip them up too much, I've noticed hosts die on third limb, not sure how the damage works.
- Avoid juggling skills and target zones mid-combat, the seconds it takes to click the right icon could be spent tackling or slashing. (though avoid tackles pre-elite, the tacklechance is bad)
- Don't fight shotgunners if you're not absolutely sure of victory. They'll die to FF/spitterspam eventually, you'll live to fight another day.

Re: how do I git good as warrior?
I've seen good warriors secure so many captures just by sticking together. They would just tackle spam the capture while one removes a arm so its gonna be harder to escape if they try and makes the sents jobs easier. Sometimes warriors are on and off for me but their stunlock lunge is perfect for the cocky marine who thinks he can solo you. You can legit just capture him right after a grab>toggle agility mode> run back to the hive or a carrier and get a capture.
