The ooman temple was silent, a large room with rows of benches leading up to an altar devoted to the ooman god. While approaching his prey he had noticed the potential the room had, a mighty canvas which not many others could appreciate, but Rhae’Gar.
He had been stalking his prey for days, seemingly a worthy foe at first. A tall man who devoted his time rallying support in the day, while at night he would go out hunting with what appeared to be his clan. He was a part of the “Ku Klux”, who had a blood feud with another clan of oomans. Rhae’Gar made sure to slam the large doors of the temple behind him, so that his foe would have time to react.
As the ooman turned away from the altar, he was suddenly frightened by what he saw. As Rhae’gar was about to prepare for an honourable battle with the ooman clan leader, he was instead disappointed by the cowardice expressed by it. It had gone down on its knees as soon as it saw him, seemingly to beg for forgiveness for his sins. Rhae’Gar scoffed at this and dropped a blade in front of it, as an encouragement for it to fight him. But yet it still refused to act, tears rolling down its face while on its knees begging.
Rhae’Gar was disgusted by this, and in a last desperate attempt, Rhae’gar played an audio clip he had recorded from when his prey was out on a raid.
The wrist gauntlet chirped “What’s wrong you dirty nigger, Had enough?”. His prey’s eyes widened, seemingly entering a state of paralysis upon hearing the audio clip.
Enraged that he had wasted days stalking a coward, Rhae’Gar extended his wristblades right into the man’s chest, before ripping his spine out. He had been denied a glorious hunt, but he would not let that stop him from engaging in his favourite pastime. The temple is his canvas, blood is his paint, all he had to do was make use of it to paint a masterpiece. He would tap the corpse for all of its blood into the baptismal font, and then his work could begin.
The blood of oomans is good for painting, it is dark and harmless to touch, and large quantities of it can be tapped from a single corpse. It is much easier to use than the blood of the serpents, the acidic properties make it hard to paint with, but can be utilized to carve symbols into hard materials. Although the prettiest blood, would be that of his own species. The illuminating blood of his kind is a rare luxury he can afford in his artwork, deep cuts can be seen on his hands, as cutting himself is the only way he can shed the most magnificent blood.
The altar of the ooman god, will be the main focus of his piece. He would not stop before he had smeared it all in the blood of the coward, then he could start working on the walls of the temple. Dipping his hands and feet into the baptismal font, he slid across the walls, letting the paint run across the entire temple. A glorious sight that would surely disturb any ooman that dares enter the temple.
Upon finishing, Rhae’Gar stood in the centre of the temple, taking his time to admire the artwork he had worked so hard on. But upon hearing footsteps outside the temple, he triggered his cloak and leapt up to hang from the chandelier, dangling in the middle of the temple. The large temple doors opened and 4 men donning the white robes of their clan walked in, wielding torches and wooden clubs.
Upon seeing the artwork made by Rhae’Gar, the oomans were horrified by what they saw, the smallest one immediately ran outside to vomit.
Rhae’Gar listened to what they had to say, “we will find the nigger who did this, I swear by god we will kill that nigger!”. Rhae’Gar could see that his artwork had angered the oomans, this would be a worthy battle. Hanging above the 3 men, he wanted to initiate the fight by shedding a bit of his own blood, as was tradition for him. He cut into the wound on his hand, the wound that had been cut so many times before. Extending his arm, he carefully let his blood drip down on to the floor in front of the men. They looked up and could only see the cut from which Rhae’Gar bled from, he uncloaked and dropped down in front of them.
Rhae’Gar played the audio clip he had played before killing their clan leader, but this time they responded by swinging their weapons at him instead of freezing in place. They were inexperienced fighters, nothing but a mob of brigands, Rhae’Gar parried their wooden clubs with ease. But overconfidence is a slow and insidious killer, something Rhae’Gar was reminded of when one of the oomans managed to hit him in the leg, knocking him down to the ground. As retaliation he decided to end it right there, he cut off the leg of the man who had hit him, and grabbed one of the others by their robe before pulling them down on to his wristblade. The last petty ooman tried to run, but Rhae’Gar grabbed him by the leg and unleashed his roar. He got up and dragged the man across the floor, just like his leader, he had become a coward. Rhae’Gar saw fit to end this last one, with a slow and painful death. He lifted him up by his throat and watched as his chokehold took the life from the ooman’s eyes.
With his enemies before him dead, he decided that his hunt was over. Although it was not as glorious as he had hoped, the satisfaction of his artwork made it worth it. As he exited the temple cloaked, the man who had run outside to vomit entered. A scream could be heard inside the temple, Rhae’Gar played the audio clip of an ooman laughing, before running off into the forest.
I intend to play my predator as an "artist" of some sort, amongst hunting he will often paint rooms with blood. You can call him a blood painter/lover/enthusiast My intention with this gimmick is to make a kind of horror atmosphere in the game, so that marines (or xenos i guess) can hopefully get a bit more RP in their rounds when they stumble upon my "art". It also seems fitting to the lore of predators as seen in the first movie where they would skin people and hang them from a tree, my gimmick is similar to that.
And if i were to ever duel someone i would cut my hand to spill some of my own blood, since my pred has this little tradition of spilling a bit of his blood before fighting. When the situation allows me to of course.
When i say hunt, i do mean the generic predator running around, observing to find a worthy prey to fight, and perhaps making a trophy of them if they are truly worthy. Something i can imagine doing, is making sound to attract potential prey into an area where i have painted my artwork, to see their reactions to this. It is what i believe, that a pred should be doing like in the movie. This creepy stalking creature who finds happiness by stalking people and scaring them, ish.
This is all doable ingame i believe, Painting a room can be done by dragging a corpse around and slashing it to spill blood, so that will be done when i get my hands on a corpse in some way.
Why should we whitelist you?
I have not really contributed in any real useful way to the server, that is true. But i am a person who is capable of holding myself up to any standard of RP really. I am a regular who does not cause trouble and i am active-ish on the forums and pretty active on the discord. These are not really good reasons to whitelist me tbh. The only real reason i can come up with is that my gimmick could potentially be fun for players on the server, and hopefully encourage some kind of RP. All i can say is, if i knew how to code or something like that then i'd contribute in a useful way. But alas, i only play here like the scrub i am.
