What rule(s) were broken: Not sure, just seems rather un-predator like.

Description of the incident: The user had made a bargain with a praetorian to fight in the event xenos were to capture the planet and run the humans off. In order to do this, the predator promised to protect the praetorian. he then proceeded to attack marines along side the xenomorphs, even when the praetorian was not in the same area as he was, therefore not protecting it. At one point, he even used a fuel tank to wound a large group of marines.

How you would punish the accused: Nothing, Just make sure he knows that his actions were not okay.

I was a witness to a few of these events. I'm unsure if the fuel tank was on purpose, but I was caught in the blast of the fuel tank without ever provoking the predator. Because of this, I walked up to the predator calling him out, to which he replied "You will never take my trophy", so I started taunting him. This lead to a fight which ended shortly with me killing him.

I'm unsure if the rules were technically broken over teaming with a prae, but it should be noted that a lot of people were caught in the blast in his protection.

I witnessed the accused Pred firing his Spike Launcher into the marines 'FOB' and generally assisting the xenos assault the FOB. His reason was "So he could help the prae finish and honour duel them faster".

His predator name is "M-di h'dlak Thei-de".

I was observing, it was last round I can understand this pred wanted to secure his prey and have a good hunt, BUT when the Elder Praetorian was safe and sound and resting, he cloaks and continues spike launching marines and stunnign them, he then does a HPC and send it to the marines and then he creates a good ol WELDERBOMB and blows up marines. All to guarantee the safety of a Elder Prae who was already safe. Now the thing that was weird was he did this all CLOAKED and instead of being a actual pred and HUNT he does a diplomacy style with the council of the xenomorph hive and does a peace treaty. Now... I know for a fact preds are antags but yet why was the pred simply scared to just duel the prae head on? Why the hell would he start spike launching marines instead of just flat out dueling the prae? I can't seem to wrap my head around this. By the way he does all this shit while cloaked.

Hello, Praetorian here.

Do not that I was the second player on the Prae's body because the original user ghosted.

Yes, he "saved me" and in exchange he wanted a duel, I agreed to it once we managed to take over the planet (did not happen).

Questionable thing that I saw was the fact that he used the Spike launcher back when we sieged Viro. At this point, I wasn't under any threat and I just saw the pred opening fire on the marine that were behind cades (not sure if marines were injured by this).

Another enconter was when I was with the Hivelord and I kept hearing multiple spike launcher shots (not if these hit marines). Both the Hivelord and me werecompletely safe from any threat aswell. Although, there was a crit Crusher which we dragged away to safety.

Another thing to note is that I kept getting dragged away by the pred even though I was in safe locations in order to protect.

I'm just posting as a witness, take this information as you wish.

I was a witness to this as an observer, the Predator dragged the fuel tank from a nearby room to the front lines, and pushed it towards the marines, then retreated back into the building the xenos were fighting front, and shot a heavy plasma caster at it. The heavy plasma caster blast hit the marines as well, in violation of the honor code regarding Worthy Prey. It was clearly intentional.

I can also confirm that he fired the spike launcher indiscriminately at marines who had not engaged him.

I would like to state that I did not witness the Predator ever fire from a cloaked state, and did decloak before firing in all cases that I saw, although I believe was cloaked to move the fuel tank onto the front lines.

Right, predator in question here.

When I joined, it was in the middle of the current round, about a good hour in. The marines were fighting in the caves and the xenos were holding off the swarm. I decided to join in because I didn't feel like waiting an hour for the next game, so I figured "eh, why not, maybe I might get lucky this time"

And so I did. I got my gear together, deployed to the planet, and begun searching for something of worth. That, however, didn't take long, as I eventually came across a rather rare sight for myself: An elder Prae.

For a bit of extra information, the last several hunts i been on have all been disappointments in one way or another, failing to get any trophies or having any real fun whatsoever. Sure, the RP might have been good sometimes, but in the quest to get Trophies? A total bust. I either spent 2 hours of a round just waddling around looking for something decent and failing to do so, dying cheap deaths, or rounds simply just ending with no real accomplishments gained. At this point, my hunting spirit has waned considerably to the point that my love for the hunt pretty much died. But when I saw that Elder Prae just running right past me in the open, I knew that this was my last chance to rekindle my hunting spirit. I wasn't going to let this one get away, not this time...

Sadly, I failed to cut it off before it ran off and got hurt, which meant I couldn't do anything to it until it healed. I followed it to see if I could ambush it when it was in better shape, but alas it was near its queen, among others. I decided to let it be for now, since it seemed the xenos were having a tough time of it and maybe it would be best to wait it out and see.

But the marines were pushing hard, and in my previous experiences, I lost too many good trophies to marines killing them before I could. It was a frustration I was not willing to deal with, not anymore. So, while I knew it was wrong... I decided to begin skirmishing with the humans to delay their advance, firing off the odd shot or two in their direction (while uncloaked, of course) and drawing their attention away from the aliens with the hope of breaking their morale and forcing them to bugger off. In doing so, I ended up assisting the xenos in their defense (in as passive a way I could) and even gained the respect of both my target and their queen.

The queen was more than aware that I sought to fight their prae, and their prae was aware that I had only been helping them stay alive and in the fight so that I could eventually take them on myself, 1 on 1. So, the queen and I came to an honorable agreement: If they take over the planet, then I can fight their prae to the death, winner take all. Being an honorable and odd thinking Yautja, I trusted the queen and would not betray their current trust in me, knowing that it would be key to getting what I wanted. But at the same time, I knew... I knew this was the stupidest thing I ever done. But I also knew that at this point, I was already too deep.

So, in a sense, I continued to fight alongside the aliens and terrorize the marines, skirmishing with them and shooting darts in a suppressive manner. I would never aim to outright KILL with my darts, just wound, because again, I only wanted to break the marines so that I may earn my prize, all the while keeping a close eye on the elder prae to make sure it kept alive by any means. More and more, I would start to abandon my sense of right and wrong and do things I knew would be bad, because I couldn't afford another bad hunt... I had too many of those, and I was tired of it. THIS HUNT, I was going to get a fucking good trophy, even if I had to do some really evil shit.

As time progressed, I came across a hostile marine with a blade. This one looked like he wanted to fight, and still being an honorable fellow despite all I did at this point, I decided to fight melee with melee, informing them of my motives before trying to shatter their legs... To which they then got one single hit to my head, KOed me for an insane amount of time, and then put a gun to my head and blew my brains all over the sand.

At this point, I have failed spectacularly. Not only have I been shamed in an one on one fight and failed to acquire what I so sought out, I had let myself go in my desperation to have a hunt where I FUCKING KILLED A TROPHY TARGET. That was all I wanted... A good xeno pelt to be proud of, like in the old days... But alas, like the last dozen hunts, that would not be.

I am aware that I indeed gone overboard that hunt, and am not surprised to see a report (in fact I requested it more or less). If I am to lose my predator status for this slight, so be it, but know well that honestly, I wouldn't mind that much.

I just don't got the hunting spirit anymore... That last hunt proves it.

You know, I don't like bumping up reports, but I'm just curious as to see if any progress has been made yet.

It has been nearly 20 days since this report has been made, and the counsel has yet to indicate anything, let alone the staff. I doubt people forgot, but still.. It has been a long longer than I expected.

Removed or not, that does not concern me, but what concerns me is the long wait for a decision to be made in the first place.

Right-o, sorry for being a late on this, been busy with my final weeks of college and I actually forgot to address this one despite the council already informing me of their opinion. Preds can assist sides but shouldn't be directly supporting one side and Reno went overboard on how much he was willing to defend them. I don't believe Reno had bad intents but whitelists are held to an equal standard for their actions and to uphold their whitelist code. Reno will have his predator whitelist suspended for two weeks, after which it will be reinstated. Sorry again for getting to this later than it should have been.

Resolved - Two-week suspension for Reno's predator whitelist.
