How much do survivors know?

About Xenos. I've been wondering because it's well known that survivors know everything.

Although as a survivor that made to to the drop ship getting stolen i was unsure of if I knew that they would come back up to the Alaymayer and was informed that it was indeed not the case.

So where is the line is it just that that they don't know or are there other aspects that they are unaware of ?

The general rule is that survivors know everything about xeno but can't act on it like going around welding all the vents or killing the monkeys IIRC. They're just supposed to hand all the IC info to marines (the info that literally everyone OOCly knows btw) so that marines can do the stuff.

Which is useless since marines shoot on first contact, retreat after first hug, chase on first contact, shoot at resin traps on first contact, blow those filthy upp tunnels etc.

Jokes aside, yes as he said they know everything and it's written in the wiki/rules as far as I remember.

I guess you don't know anything about Queen Mother. Or maybe it depends on your role? Scientist could know somehow.

Ive always thought survivors know enough not to have to have to put themself in pointless danger for the sake of RP excluding marines and almayer ofc, surviving as survivor is hard withought willingly having to walk into a resin trap or something

Honestly the only reason I see people play survivor is to either get to kill xenos early, have less restrictions like marines do, or to "win" at something, namely by getting extracted onto the almayer.

The mop guy, always remember the mop guy. Single handedly took out three marines with a mop into paincrit so he could keep mopping nexus until the admemes told him to lay it off.
