So with Ice you can freeze to death from heat and you have the surface and sub-surface map portions. What about a map that is Hot (and hurts in the sun too long) And has the surface and Above-Surface like a Refinery in the desert? While the map could be daylight instead of night time, Marines would actually want to be in the dark areas and have minimal exposure to the naturally bright areas. Likewise, Fighting above in the scafolding/structured areas would still allow CAS and whatnot. What are peoples thoughts on this?

This idea has been brought up countless times. I honestly would not be surprised if the Devs have something on paper or in the works already that resembles this.

I may be wrong but knowing how big of a deal light is to xenos a day time map would be pretty much impossible for xenos to win.

Just make it have loads of unlit buildings, or multi-z with dark, slightly cooler caves below
