Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Aliens voting yes/no when a drone wants to become a queen

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): would free aliens of rushers and incompetents who evolve to get power

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Whenever a drone tried to evolve to a queen it would start a vote among aliens
to see if they want the person to be a queen. i had some encounters with noob queens and rushers who took it while others were still talking.

As long as the vote thing didn't count "Mindless" Aliens in the vote sure, i think this could work.

yeah mindless should be excluded somehow. mayby they would be treated like dead like in crew transfer? isnt it so only living can vote for it?

Meh…neutral for now but i might switch to +1 soon
Since really, i do know that sometimes, you get very shitty queens who just evolve and do nothing very good, not even laying eggs
On the other hand, i doubt anyone wants to be a queen 9999999 times because they are a pro one and everyone else relies on them...

How would you even know if the xeno is good or not? They don't have names where you can go 'oh, its John, John isn't stupid, I can trust John as the commander.' And the number of times as a xeno doesn't mean anything since that'd usually just be an indicator of how many times they've died as a marine.

Honestly it's a good idea in theory.. but lately I've been playing Alien and at round start no one even wants to be Queen.
I've had serious debates about this to the point Aliens got so far behind because no one wanted to play Queen.

Sure there's the situation where a few people REALLY want to be Queen at round start.. but I don't think it's all that often?

I'm opposed. Drones should be fighting to see who gets to be the next Queen, I'm sure that's in alien lore.

-1. It'll end up in endless argument, and no queen will be created. If a queen is bad, they generally die off. If they're trolling, the ahelp button exists for a reason. If they've been AFK for a long time, push them into a marine FoB and use them to allow more space for a queen.

50 to 50 it will happen. I, as a Drone, competed to be Queen with another smart drone. Unfortunately, I lost but the aliens still won the game.

Yeah, UM, but that doesn't happen most of the time. In my experience, I've had situations where i've gone over with drones on who should become the queen. We agreed that one of the robust drones becomes the queen, then adolf shitler arrives, insta-queens and begins to demand that we all become runners and run into hoards of marines. Plenty of times we get butthurt people who died or just stupid people become the queen because they think if they have power, they're unstoppable and their plan is foolproof. I'ma give this a +1
