Cooler LO Uniforms

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): I've been playing LO from time to time and I look at the uniform and I feel like i'm wearing a padded skin-tight suit with a red plush neck thing surrounded by marines in their sexy tan jumpsuits. I wouldn't doubt that there are others jumpsuits or jackets that could make the LOs look more militaristic.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): More immersive, not looking like you came from the ship on WALLE. sexyfuntime

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Changing up the clothes!

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Finding new clothes and setting them to the default LO spawn, alternate suit options.

Yes, this needs to be in.. might be for XO's and the other command thing in the alpha though instead of Now i think, well it makes more sense that way anyway.

LOs can just wear Marine jumpsuits with berets. No sprite needed, and it would be more realistic. Lt. Gorman in Aliens only wore a green jumpsuit.

Why would they wear combat fatigues while they are operating terminals and giving orders.

Think about a naval ship here... the bridge officers aren't in fatigues because they aren't doing physical work.

I like the uniforms.. having a hard time seeing a serious problem with them. They stand out as well with the blue so you know they're a LO and officer.

When the marines woke up from the Sulaco for their mission briefing, Gorman wore fatigues. He also wasn't in direct combat for a majority of the time, sitting behind a terminal and giving orders.

I haven't served on a Navy ship, so I can't comment about fatigues regarding their bridge, but from what I know, it seems pretty standard to wear fatigues for a lot of militaries rather than dress.

There will be people on both sides who like and don't like any uniform, rather it's blue or fatigue. I'm always up for a more realistic uniform. But instead of trying to argue my side as me and Pink can keep at this forever, i'll just point out that USCM officers don't have blue dress uniforms and wear fatigues in the lore.

If they get blue uniforms in the books somewhere or something, sounds great then. I think the USCM brown and green dress uniform would be great, but I can't sprite. Maybe i'll learn and try to sprite it.

Spriting is fairly easy. You can use paint to sprite or dream maker, however I preferred Dream Maker. However, the big issue I have is. I have no talent in shading.

I could try doing something....first,What primary colour should i use,primary as in,the dominant colour...combat fatigues have brown,current LO has blue..
Once i have suggestions i shall start working

The second one without the pistol belt holder. Maybe the commander can have the pistol belt holder uniform. The jumpsuit is an olive drab color as well. Olive drab in computer color code doesn't match, but I found one called Lizard in RGB HSL that matches good:

And, I decided not to sprite because players are contributing to this.. I don't want to make them feel sad for my awesomeness.
