Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):in my time as playing the aliens can get pretty metay of late. they have been stripping me to the uniform and then stuffing it all in a locker. this is problematic as it prevents marines from doing anything once captured
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):less meta more fun
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): why would aliens know to remove the uniform Armour and backpack from marines and such? they should be considering this stuff part of the marines bodies like a chitin. (exception would be like they see you pulling a gun from a backpack or belt). but more often than not i and others immediately get stripped to our skin removing our armour and uniform even our boots heck they even knew what the c4 and grenades i dropped while trying to pull them out were. and melted them and not a single explosive had gone on the entire round.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Change the rules to prevent this issue.
Rules regarding alien stripping.

I am gonna be honest
I don't mind aliens stripping you off the backpacks, belts and etc
BUT HOWEVER
Melting a backpack or belts and etc or even pulling them away, is a serious dick move...

I believe code is in place to disallow aliens to strip Pockets, Boots, jumpsuit, ears, and eyes. And perhaps also gloves. So, either that is broken, or aliens are not stripping boots and uniforms. I disagree with the stripping of belts as well, but I do not believe the majority disagrees.

+1 on the idea of aliens not being able to strip unless they see that specific marine whip out his gun.

That doesn't make any RP sense. Aliens are smarter than that.LordeKilly wrote:+1 on the idea of aliens not being able to strip unless they see that specific marine whip out his gun.
Also, we tried that. It doesn't work. It becomes a "he said she said" problem when the marine says they never pulled out a weapon and the alien says they did.

Aliens wouldn't be smart like that, they could think the armor was part of their skin, removing it would be flaying them. Removing helmets could be scalping them for all they know.
