we could just have the verb in the objects tab.. or a weapon tab would be nice to toggle the safety.

i only think about the people who forgot that their weapons were on safety and got downed by a warrior or even a drone.

I can see myself raging because I accidentally set the safety or something... not necessary.
I'm stressing way too hard about what to put here, so I'm just gonna leave it blank.... or....

-1 useless, pointless, only good for getting yourself killed. Switch to the other hand if you don't want to misclick.

I've always considered holding the M41a and the shotgun with one hand as its safety.

I was going to write exactly that, but Joshuu beat me to it.

If you would permaban a player, you owe it to him to look into his logs and hear his side of the story. And if you cannot bear to do that, then perhaps the player does not deserve to be banned.

It doesn't have to be on by default...just an optional setting.

This will make newbie marines even more useless, and I'm sure it'll result in many terminal errors even for experienced marines.

Why waste time coding it, space coding it, and make the menus even more cluttered for a 'feature' that exists to get you killed? If you need a safety, do it like everyone else. Switch hands or holster. 100% guaranteed safety and you can fire it in a second instead of fumbling with BYOND's lovely menus or lagging when you right click the gun to disable safeties.

It'd take around five minutes to code at most. It's a verb connected to a function that says you can't fire the gun. Plus, it'd make a nice little clicking sound that'd bring tears to my eyes.

Horrible idea. Grabbing it with two hands is enough safety for me.
