You're supposed to put bugs here.

I need more than that.
If he was not on the OP table, then there is a chance to stab him instead of conducting surgery.

Re: Surgery bugs on tables
I can confirm surgery occasionally bugs out mid-step if not performed on a surgical table. I had a marine buckled to a gurney and nearly killed him because instead of using the saw to carefully cut open his skull, I sawed his face twice.Infernus wrote:I need more than that.

Not the, "You try to cut open his skull but mess up" message the, "Jeremy Wolfe has attacked Marine in face with saw!"

Re: Surgery bugs on tables
It is how surgery works on tables. tables have 34% chance to "ignore" surgical attempt and go straight to item attack mode. I changed it so instead of attacking, you slip your hands and slice something inside.

Re: Surgery bugs on tables
Do you receive a different message than the standard targeted area attack? If so that's not what is happening. I've had moments where I "slip up" on my surgical attempt, but those are different than the straight up attacks like I didn't have help intent on.Infernus wrote:It is how surgery works on tables. tables have 34% chance to "ignore" surgical attempt and go straight to item attack mode. Re: Surgery bugs on tables
Well, I did update surgery today and changed how failed steps work on tables.
Before: If you fail, you will attack him with that item ("X was attacked with scalpel by Y")
Now: "Your hands slips, slicing X"
