It is possible to walk/shoot through the Gauss cannon
Steps to reproduce:
1.Walk into the Gauss Cannon
Can walk through the Gauss Cannon (ALPHA)

As far as I know, the gauss cannon doesn't actually fire anything, does it?
That, and you could technically say they're climbing over it/ shooting around it.

As above, they're actually underneath-ish and function as gun platforms, allowing people to climb around on them. Wouldn't recommend it when it's in flight, though.
