The Armory is Lame

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): The supplies in the armory are pretty lame considering it is the ARMORY after all.
Here is the list of Equipment:
1- M29 Grenade Launchern
7- Frag Grenades
3- M41A Rifles
3- M39 SMGs
3- M4A3 Service Pistols
3- M37 Pump Shotguns
1-Nuclear Fission Explosive

Perhaps the armory should be fitted with some ammunition for all these guns?
Perhaps the armory should be fitted with some gear and clothing?
Perhaps the armory should be fitted with some of the more heavy duty firearms?
Perhaps the armory should be fitted with some riot shields and maybe even deployable barriers?

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): In the event that the armories assistance is required, it would be prepped enough to support the threat that the Xenomorphs cause.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): By adding a few more weapons and gear the marines would be able to use the armory for a good reason. As of right now it isn't opened most the rounds (which is fine by the way, doesn't need to be a roundly thing that occurs) but it just looks pathetic if you ask me. The only interesting thing in there is the Nuke but even that is very very limited to seeing use (And for good reason)

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Add in a few more weapons, such as the smartgun and sniper riffle due to them being the more rare ones. Give ammo to the existing weapons in a fair, but not too over-the-top amount. Apply lockers with potential gear stuffed within.
*Edit: Maybe even a Vendor that dispenses certain items

Yeah. +1. That's more of a storage for some gun nut than an armory for the marine corps. Give it 2 sniper rifles, a smartgun, some ammo, riot gear, etc. I mean, it IS an armory meant for emergency use. And if it got raided during a mutiny, smartgun cant hit friendlies and GL hitting a marine yakety saxing around with a sniper.

I would add onto this that perhaps the Bridge should have an "unlock armory" button. It seems a bit strange that the CO or XO has to walk all the way down to the hanger floor just to open it. Not even MPs have access to the armory. But yeah +1

Why is the Armoury there anyway? If Xenomorphs attack the Sulaco odds are the battle's going to take place in the hanger bay or in the mess hall. Wouldn't it make sense for the heavy armoury to be near the bridge so the command staff can have quick access to military gear in a emergency?

Right now the current armoury only serves to give out guns to scientists and the liaison.

The armoury is completely useless in that spot due to as soon as aliens board nobody can use it and also everything you can get in the armoury you can get at the marine standard prep... so... it needs to be something which is actually worth the risk.

The armory's only goal, is to have some spare weapons (if the power is down and the dispensers don't work) and to hold the nuke.

It only has like three of each gun and no ammo for them, so at least add some ammo for the weapons at the very least.
