Well then.
This just happened after a cargo tech decided that It would be a good idea to stay inside the firing range against the advice of a scientist that is testing grenades, just to run out and spread the fire once he realized how dangerous It would get:

Re: Well then.
The kicker to all this is that Felkvir tried to pin this entire clusterf*ck on me by saying that I can't test incendiary grenades in there. But I'm like:
"Man, shut the hell up dawg, The reason I tested the flame grenade in there was because it's a FIREing range, STUPID!"
Fun times were had though.

Here's another picture to get some scale to how big it was:

So does the napalm formula actually work now? Cause it definitely looks like it.

Soooooo. Your bragging about grief? Give me one good reason as to why I should not be talking to you personally about what you have done? Cause this is a pretty stupid move on your part. Cause it really sounds more like bragging than a accident from how your going at it.

Re: Well then.
This is why napalm was banned on Classic, and I thought people learned from the incidents why it was banned.

Re: Well then.
.. No, I'm not bragging about grief. If you'd bothered to read the text given from both my forum post itself and the chat picture, the fire was caused by someone sabotaging a grenade experiment made.SASoperative wrote:Soooooo. Your bragging about grief?

Re: Well then.
Why would you text something that you KNEW could potentially destroy Sulaco and cause so many issues.
Honestly, this is PRIME stupidity right here.

Re: Well then.
I did not know It could destroy Sulaco. I planned to test NEW variations that weren't so destructive, using absolute minimalistic doses which can be seen from the chat with the first grenade having zero effect (and being laughed at). I did my due process by welding the vents to avoid air spreading, warning people to stay away and shutting the AIRTIGHT door to keep it CONTAINED.Pink wrote:Why would you text something that you KNEW could potentially destroy Sulaco and cause so many issues.

But as I now have explained over 3 times, The experiment and I got GRIEFED. The issue was resolved and I received a warning from Felkvir, telling me not to do it again as there are no proper "explosion testing rooms" due to the map design being unfinished/science being overlooked along with other administrators letting me know to not do any weird grenade mixes and that Napalm is banned on the server (Not stated in the rules).
I did this post to try and ease the pain suffered by the incident by providing flashy screenshots of a very rare event but apparently people have interpreted this as me pissing in the face of admins for god knows what reason.

Listing things separately is supposed to state a few key points to clarify things. You managed to do the opposite with this post even by using the method.Artyom wrote:>prime stupidity

Doesn't really matter if people agree or not because apparently, I'm still getting a permaban for having science experiments I did get griefed twice, THAT ARE FULLY LOGGED and with no admin ASKING FOR SPECIFIC EVIDENCE.Artyom wrote:>me agreeing with the OP on the topic

Being pissy about something shitty that happened on a server you own is fine, but banning a user for an already resolved & punished issue that occurred which was out of his/her control, without even talking/asking questions? Just wow.
Worst part has to be that I was banned in the middle of being the CMO and doing surgery on someone, which probably died as a result due to medical being horrendously understaffed/SSD'ed.

Re: Well then.
Apparently you're responsible for the outcomes of people griefing/being idiots with stuff you make in Sci.
It's a retarded, unfair rule that's not actually mentioned in the ruleset (griefers should be punished, not the researcher), but it is what it is; I got menaced with a ban over similar things when idiot marines used a detonator they were explicitly told not to, and blew a couple of holes in the Sulaco.
