Survivors and the Sulaco.

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): So as a survivor on sulaco, currently you have nothing to do after talking to the command staff about the aliens besides becoming a marine which is frowned upon.So we need something for survivors to do after they have talked to the command staff and rped with the liason for abit because otherwise most become marines or just go SSD which is understandable as they become bored of sitting around and waiting.

Summary:
-Need new things for survivor to do on Sulaco.
- No ideas myself but it would be nice if we could get some.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): It would make playing a survivor more desirable instead of what it is currently.
-Increases Rp and makes logical sense.
-Making it not such a boring antag/job to play after you end up on sulaco after surviving.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): no idea as we haven't thought of it yet.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): No idea as we haven't thought of it yet.

Well we could after they board the the Sulaco and blah blah survivor talk blah get sent off on a shuttle to Centcomm but actually they have a choice of respawning as a marine.

Hmmmmm... Maybe you turn out to be a high ranking officer? And then get to have your own guest suite on the Sulaco and you just do High ranking stuff. i don't really know. WAIT. A guest suite, make that, NOW. I think the survivors need to feel in place. So they should have somewhere to stay, and maybe someone has to watch them? I don't know...A room to stay in would be real nice.

Or just don't go to the Sulaco, it's much more fun as a Survivor to sit on the planet all day and scavange shit, then to join the marines. :D

When I'm the corp Liaison I try to find stuff to do with the Survivors since they're Weyland-Yutani personnel. Would be interesting to have more interactions there besides roleplay as well.

Perhaps a survivor could spawn wih objecties something along the lines of:

"Upon rescue obtain X from the Sulaco for the company"

Or something along them lines. Im not sure if this is similar to the liason but it would certainly give more rp options and an alternative to going SSD.

Damn. Just give survivor profession like it was on old CM before something happened and this feature dissapeared. Survivor-engineer? Go to CE of Sulaco. HoP? Your way onto Bridge. Miner? Cargo is your destiny. Survivor-security? MPs need new shitcurity brother or marines always need fresh blood. Scientist? I'm sure you have something interesting to tell your colleague on Sulaco. Doctor? Sulaco medbay is waiting for you. But you also will be very usefull in FoB.

That's all. No respawn, no suicide, no boriness (more than usual). Get reassigned, join great Sulaco crew and keep working, man.
