Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
People complain about mine's constantly and sometime's it's within reason.
One serious issue is people deploying mine's then shoving them in their backpacks or hands.
Some people even pick them up and throw them into hive's or clusters of Xeno's
Or the worst, someone hold's them in their hand and when they get tackled by a Xeno the xeno explodes.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
It's unrealistic, you wouldn't pick up a real mine and they can be used as grenades or deployed to areas that you wouldn't actually be able to reach.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Less bullshit with the Mine's.
We have a lot of explosives on Alpha and people are complaining alot about Mine's.
Once you deploy them on the tile you're standing on you shouldn't be able to pick them back up.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

Pink, I deployed mine today and I couldn't move it. I think your suggestion was already made, though I'm not sure.

I'd like to keep some function to disable a mine then pick it back up, they have an IFF scanner so retrieval of them should be a lot more doable than with normal mines. But otherwise I agree, throwing a mine should probably just damage it so that it can never go off again, and holding an activated mine should have a more distinctive item sprite and not fit in backpacks and the like.

I'll explain. I deployed a mine. I tried to take it in hand. "You can't hold it" or something like that. Pulling didn't work too. But I want, that mines could be redeployed by engineer, using multitool.

If you click on them you can pick it back up, and it makes no sense why not. They work using the same kind of system as the smartgun and have an FoF tagging system based on a player having an id, this is why even dead aliens set them off when dragged over them. On top of that moving them because the aliens meta what they are is generally helpful.

I haven't tested proxy mine's today so perhaps it was changed.

UM, this isn't a bug. It's been like this since before Alpha forever.. you could always pick up Mine's and move them after deployment.

I couldn't pick up a deployed mine last week, no matter what I tried.
