A damn Predalien

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): When I first heard about this and I saw AVP:R, I was like 'WTF it exists?' it looks cheesy as hell ... But it makes sense. Anyways a Xenoyautja (aka Predalien) is what comes of a predator after he got facefucked by a facehugger... Wiki page: http://aliens.wikia.com/wiki/Predalien.


Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): In games with a predator in it, after he got facehugged he will become a predalien who will fight like a predator (badass) but for the alien. THIS WILL benefit the game cause well it will be awesome you gotta admit heh.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): A predator gets facehugged OH NO, he gets dragged by alien creatures and finds himself in some kind of nest.. and his chests hurts...
BOOM GREEN BLOOD EVERYWHERE! Well thats how the predalien was born, and grows to kill meatbags!

Note: I don't know if it's added or already suggested I do hope it will become real.

There have been multiple cases where a predator wasn't able to set off their bracer nukes. I myself caught a predator once and a chestburster birth from it.

Predators have to activate their bracers to detonate. Predators don't automatically explode when killed or crtitically wounded.

+1, as to why the predalien was able to infected the woman was because there was no queen present so it was becoming a wierd proto-queen, and since queen will be present in the hive then this hugger implant thing can be ignored

It doesn't just infect pregnant woman, that's just a very memorable scene. There's also a scene where the predalien infests a woman in the sewers. After some research I can safely say that the reason this was possible is because the predator DNA gave the predalien more capabilities than its human spawned counterparts. The predalien was in its own stage of becoming a queen where it used that method to infest humans before it would later (though it never got the chance) develop an egg sack, become immobile, and become what we recognize as a queen.

How would the predalien work in-game then, one idea i've came up with is maybe having it choose to become a predalien queen ( Immobile and such) like in the above statement or.. maybe a predator alien thing. (not sure about the other thing)

I do however know we have a immobile queen sprite somewhere with abit of code i believe..

Seeing as predaliens would be an extremely unusual occurrence, I'd say buffed health, speed, and strength, as well as having the ability to pounce. A good reward for the hive seeing as they'd probably lose a couple of members trying to catch and contain it.

That, or perhaps give it a special set of abilities.

Predaliens would probably be taller than regular xenos,maybe tier 3 size,more claw damage,more health,cant use vents maybe,the roar is a mix of the pred and xeno roar...and thats all that i can think of

Just look to how other AvP games handle Predaliens.

In those a Predalien is usually bigger and stronger. In addition its alluded that a Predalien retains some characteristics of a Predator, such as taking trophies of dead prey.

It'd be a reward of sorts for actually capturing and implanting the predator without it kersploding itself. I find it to be rather awesome, and since it wouldn't happen too often the Predalien would be a bitch to kill. However, with great power comes great responsibility, so should the Predalien be whitelisted?

I do not and will not ever consider AvP:R as actual canon. The movie was filmed for the sake of shock horror, and not actual horror.

Regarding Predaliens.

What will they actually bring to the table here? I do not really think you will ever find a use for them given that predators are whitelisted and rather rare to begin with, and managing to hugger and infect a predator WITHOUT them setting off their bracer mini-nuke is a long-shot hope. Don't forget, predators have studied the xenomorphs for eons. They KNOW what happens when someone gets facehuggered. Predalien would never happen in-game, period. A predator would rather die than give birth to a fukken xeno vilespawn.

Predaliens in the lore of AvP would never happen, a bunch of manchildren just sat down one day and asked themselves how they could milk the franchise even more and get money at the box office. They decided to screw over the established lore and create the predalien as a result.

Also the concept of Predaliens have been around well before the original AvP movies.

Concept may have been around before that, but the AvP movies sort of .. Drove that way much further.
