Ka'torag-na hult'ah (Lurking Watcher)
Byond ID:
evilkyle24
Marine Name (so we know who you are):
Jack Bright
Name of the character you want whitelisted (As in, the name your predator will use):
ka'Torag-na hult'ah
Are you familiar with the Predator Code Of Honor (viewtopic.php?f=57&t=2693)?
Quite.
Character background (an RP description as to why this character would be in this position, such as clan information. This will weigh HEAVILY on the decision, so make the information count):
Ka'torag-na hult'ah stalked through the jungle of an unnamed death world, creeping through the trees. He had been camouflaged for days, tracking a single herd of one of the planets many predators. Furred and clawed, they had dragged down a mighty beast the day before, though not without taking casualties.
Ka'torag-na could have been upon them at any time. They would occasionally leave the group to investigate the odd sounds in the night. It would have been easy to ensure the fight remained one on one. But he abstained. He observed.
He watched them fight, and watched as one by one the pack dwindled. He had almost picked out the one he would do battle with. He stalked them to find the strongest member of the pack, the one who would be the most glorious trophy. He was so very close to discovering it.
The next day, he made his decision.
There, at the head of the group, as they moved in the early morning, was a great male of the species. The spines on its back were razor sharp, honed by eons of natural selection. Its four fangs extended beyond its muzzle, and its great claws were permanently caked in blood. Scars raked its face and forearms, and it was nearly blinded in its third eye by a tremendous gash inflicted by some long dead foe. To survive so injured, it must have been a great hunter, and a monster in combat.
He knew the beast he must face, but now he must face it alone. Fortunately, in this world, the tides of dominance shifted rapidly. The pack had steadily been dwindling as the prey in the area were becoming wiser. No more of the small, easy meat was left.
This beast, this alpha male at the head of its pack, must have shifted packs a dozen times to survive so long. Soon it would have to move again, and when it did, Ka'torag-na would take it.
A week went by of careful stalking and killing, always staying one step ahead of the pack. He hunted to survive, and the packs numbers dwindled as they too fought the great beasts of prey that walked this world. The great beasts were excellent sport, but they did not offer the challenge of a true hunter.
At last the time was at hand. The pack was slain completely and the leader fled from the battle. A hunt had gone sour on them, as an unseen mate of their prey lumbered into battle and struck down the rest of the pack. Still, Ka'torag-na watched. The prey was not ready.
A day went by as it wandered. It healed its injuries, licked its wounds, and rested fully. It searched for a new pack. There would be no new family for it.
Only death.
Ka'torag-na disabled his cloaking and leapt from the trees. He landed in front of the Alpha, and roared a challenge. He had stripped himself of his equipment, the only gear he brought into the fight were his wrist blades. The fight would be even, claw against claw. As the battle raged on, both combatants accrued injuries. After a half hour of vicious combat, the beast was slain.
With a triumphant cry, the wounded Ka'torag-na tore the skull and spine from the dead beast, and flayed its skin from its body. Though the skinning was normally done on prey considered to be an easy target, he wished to have the hide as a cloak, a reminder of the creature who gave him such a struggle. A sign that this creature, who had helped him so to prepare for the greatest hunt yet, would always be with him.
He retrieved his gear and moved to the ship that had brought him to this world. The time was at hand for his hunt against the kiande amedha, the black serpents, the ultimate prey. Soon he would join the ranks of the blooded.
Why should we whitelist you?
I have never broken the in-character rules of the server, nor have I ever gone against the out of character rules in place. I have not had a single incident with any admin in which I was punished or found guilty of deliberately breaking the rules of this server.
I listen well to the admins and staff, and do not argue with their instructions. This server is a wonderful place and I very much enjoy my time spent on it. I am good at roleplaying the marines, and I obey the queen as an alien player. I treat my fellow players with respect in both roles, and abide by marine law.
I have played Space Station 13 for years, and am very experienced in both gameplay and roleplay.
Do you understand that any player - donor or otherwise - can have their whitelist status revoked should they break our rules or disobey the Predator Code of Honor?
Fully and completely.

This was pretty decent other than the fact that the Alpha was injured in the eye at the time of your attack.
Greatly written, but because of the fact above, i'm staying neutral, although leaning towards +1.

...Ahem. Yautja code is against hunting prey that is still suffering from it's wounds or was crippled by them. It had three eyes and sustained that wound probably years ago, so was unaffected by it at the time of the hunt.
Lockie 'Furry' Hughes, your local source of annoyance, medicine and Will. E. Coyote engineering. Mostly medicine. Maybe annoyance.

Yes, that is what I meant. The eye scar was very old, and since it had survived with it for so long, it must have been a great hunter.Derpislav wrote:...Ahem. Re: Ka'torag-na hult'ah (Lurking Watcher)
Eh, not badly written but it looks like another exempt from a novel or some sort of short story .. Not an actual background. What i see here is a glimpse into the life of a creature that can live well beyond 1000 years.
I mean, c'mon...
