Marine Tracker/Crew Monitoring Computer

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):A computer that shows the map and the position in real time of the soldiers to the bridge officers (one for each squad, on consoles) and a handheld device for the Squad Leader with the same function, or maybe a little worse.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): If you have played at least one match as Squad Leader then you know how stressful it is to keep asking a hundred times to know the location of some soldiers (half did not even bother to answer the radio)

This could help LOT to control the troops, not only for the Squad Leader more would also be something more to the Bridge Officers, imagine being able to create tactics as you can see real-time positions on the screen. (more fun to BO's and CO and save SL's time)

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): A hand item for each Squad Leader that shows only their squad and an option on consoles to watch map/marines, etc.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
I do not know if that's possible here and nor will end up giving even more lag for the server. But it's really really really cool and useful, atleast to me that always play as SL.

I think this was already suggested before and the reason is mostly being shot down is "then the marines would easily find the alien hive".
(Weird I'm pretty sure I saw a thread talking about this before but I can't find it now.)

I'm pretty sure he's not asking for a map but an actual tracker, like baystation has.

I'm certain what he is asking is that the Command be given access to a console akin to what other servers have that shows a overview of the SOUTHERN part of the planet, and that it tracks Marine's. Allowing the Commander to get a better feel of how the Marines are deployed.

Also only showing the South of the planet will not spoil or allow for meta on what's North of the planet.
