Suicide Options

I want to be able to kill me self in many ways. Knife , Shotgun , Rifle , RPG , ect..

I mean it's possible to use something other than a pistol to commit sudoku


Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):

Some times you need to kill yourself and you may not have a pistol.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):

Select mouth, pull out weapon of your choosing, bam. EX. Knife- XXX PLUNGES KNIFE IN TO HIS/HER NECK!

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):

Like regular suicide but with different objects and text

+1, if it takes longer then firearms so its not game-breaking for aliens.
Suicide with knife currently is pretty tough- hit myself four times, it kept sticking in. Possible, but was hillarious.

You can only suicide by service pistol and the magnum

I think I managed with a rifle once, in the mouth. Dont remember.
Actually with a rifle if you manage to drop armor you can shoot yourself in the body and die pretty fast with some luck.

Wut... You can suicide with any bullet-shooting gun. You can't normally suicicde with knife, yes, that's a problem.

If you hold a knife and target your chest while not wearing armor you get a custom blood sprite on your stomach that looks like a game of sudoku.

Fun fact, on a vanilla game you can an hero with a LASER TAG GUN

Also add putting a live made it your mouth that would blow your head off and do some splash damage

I've once seen an MT blow his head off with a shotgun. And I'm not being over-dramatic, his head did fly off.

However, suiciding with a gun is easy - point in general direction of something vital, pull trigger. Melee suicides should be limited somehow, because it takes a great amount of desperation to kill yourself while feeling the pain and having enough time for second thoughts. Longer delay, perhaps, or no insta-kills, just a lot of damage?
Or base the results on RNG, with a chance to kill yourself the wrong way and ending up paincrit'd and unable to defend yourself, but not quite dead.

-1 from me. I don't particularly like seeing the marines suicide, sure there are some RP justification, but it also tend cause a lot of problems. Suicide on the sulaco is a massive pain generally, it often removes a slot from play by future joiners just because the person didn't feel like using the cryo-storage. On the battlefield the suicide tends to directly remove hosts from the aliens which tends to just slow down everything since they then have to catch more people and/or wait for all the aliens to reach t3 before being able to advance.

To summarize: I think encouraging suicide through having additional options is oocly a bad mechanical decision. I also think it ICly/RP-wise would be cool. In this case, however, OOC should probably take precedents over IC and as such shouldn't be added.
