Bone shrapnel in torso

Post by cylian » 16 Aug 2015, 20:46

Bug Description: Whenever there is an instance of bone shrapnel (resulting from ribcage breaking/being severely damaged), there is a glitch where during surgery (using hemostat on opened up ripcage to pick up unknown objects, AKA bone fragments) that will say that "You begin taking out bone chips out of X's Brain".

Are you sure that the doctor was doing the chest surgery first? Because I recently have seen a lot of brain surgeries because people arrive with brain damage and I think it was due to explosions.

:| Here another problem, recently I was doing surgery. I didn't know Chest Bone Surgery first, and well you guess it doing it after Organ repair got me no where.

I've had problems where you can't combine multiple surgery types (organ repair and bone repair) so I've had to do one type, then another.

If you know about it, it's not super time consuming, but it is something for docs to be aware of, that they may need to do multiple surgeries on the same patient in the same area.

Do you recall what was the last step you did on organ repair before you tried bone repair on the ribcage? I had no problems yesterday with performing multiple chest surgeries in one go.

I was doing an internal organ repair and attempted to close up the rib cage, seal it, then start the process to reset the broken ribs. It's possible I missed a step.

Trick is to retract rib cage back in place, apply 2 layers of bone gel, and then use the bone setter. Never had that not work, although I did run into a weird surgery bug the other day.

I've had a few surgeries where this had happen, operating on someones chest and then it says you're taking the bone chips out of their brain. It's been awhile, but in those cases I believe they had brain damage and also something in your chest, so yes, I think this bug still applies.

It's not much of a hindrance, just a bit confusing once it happens. After using the hemostat the second time, then you start picking through their chest. Not sure if this is helpful or not, I'm just posting for the original bug in case it wasn't already fixed.

That might be it, wasn't slathering enough bone gel on.

Invalid.
As Releasing stated, you need to close the rib cage and seal it with glue, then start applying glue on the broken part of the bone.
