Requisition Shutters

Post by Gentlefood » 25 Aug 2015, 00:00

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): Cargo gets a dropable shutter on the table.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Lets Cargo 'close' and 'open'. Also helps protect against riots and attacks by angry marines.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): A button on the table next to the window that drops a shutter on the table between windows.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Code and mapping.

Yay! Totaly +1! I hate, when I'm preparing supply drop and not in work place, and some asshole break windoor to take what he want. Fuckers. But better make it not only on table section, but on whole cargo.

+1, I've wanted this since forever. Requisitions technically doesn't even need to serve any Marines unless the Commander says so.

No, they have to. It's like, improved armory with officer on duty. With more important and expensive equipment.

Thats not true, according to the IC directives outside the Req Office, Marines should not expect nor demand to be served equipment.

What? Where are those directives? Anyway, if RO refuses to give marine at least two attachments without good reason, he is shitty RO. Marines need attachments and webbings.

I didn't see them yesterday o.O Wow, I liked how they use "Two attachments per marine, three for SL and specialists" politics.

Eh plus one from me, no armory would ever not have some sort of security in place to stop any thieves from trying to break in. So this has my vote.

Sure it would be nice to not have marines break down your door and rob everything. +1 from me.

And yeah Jeser they are more or less guidelines than rules.

+1 so that Requisitions actually has a chance against marines breaking in and has time to be safe behind them until an Mp arrives.

Marines are pretty bad about robbing from support roles on Sulaco. I can't count the number of times all the metal and tools were taken from engineering. What is crazy is when they expect engineering to fix their shuttle or when some idiot blows holes in the floor of Sulaco causing massive depressurization.

Shouldn't be a problem. However, I think the "best" protection against rioting marines, would be to prevent the riot...
