EOR Grief ban appeal

Post by RadiantFlash » 27 Aug 2015, 16:39

Beyond ID:RadiantFlash

Character name:Caster Hastings

Admin who banned you:johners12345

Initial duration:180 minutes.

Duration remaining:179 minutes

Reason for ban: End of round grief.

Your appeal, including evidence (an http://www.imgur.com album is recommended for multiple screenshots): While I'm aware that end of round grief is a major issue, I don't believe what I did was end of round grief. I was in critical inside the alien hive, helping take down the last xeno morph when the round ended. I continued to clear out the rest of the alien eggs, and mid firing my smg, a marine stepped out in front of me. I stopped, and adjusted my aim to avoid him, but a single bullet already hit him in the chest.

As I know end of round grief is a major issue, and bans are to be handed out often without questioning because of the massive amount of attack logs staff have to deal with. It is just that, for a single shot that occured by accident, it seems a bit much. That said my ban is already fairly short in comparison to some I've seen and I likely could have just waited it out, but I always prefer to make appeals on the forum for any ban I recieve.
I haven't broken any rules before, and I'd prefer for the mistake not being recorded as me having done so.

I also wish to point out that the person I accidently shot once ended up filling mike scrubious full of bullets afterwards, and that perhaps the ban was meant for him, rather then me?

Yeah I realized later that you only shot me once. Jim Antepod filled me with lead not you. Hopefully this gets resolved fast and I'm sorry dude.

It's fine! Can't blame you for mixing it up considering the amount of red-text at the end of the round. And uh, my apologies for the bouncing throwing knife mid-round. It was rather unexpected.

I Do Not mind having you unbanned early since you took the time to write this up and explain it. I only banned you as part of what happens at the end of the round.. Your name showed up on the giant tyrade of attack logs and you got the hammer.. Though Jim has also been banned For His large amount of attack logs.

p.s- most likely time is done, and I can not handle this as I have been removed from staff after review.

You should have looked into the case instead of instantly banning based off of 1 shot, This will be removed from your ban record and notes.
