Change emitters

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Change emitters to something like 'SuperMatter bursting lasers' or something that do exactly what an emitter does to the SMC without seriously harming any mobs in the way of its beam.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
The SMC would not be affected, but marines wouldn't have the temptation to use them in defenses.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
I was thinking minor resprite for the emitter, plus a name & code change, the new device would do exactly the same to the SuperMatter core, but wouldn't harm mobs nearly as much as emitters.
I was also thinking of something that won't let griffy MTs just leave it on, like one burst per click.

No. The emitter is a perfectly fine tool to use, especially when xenos are confirmed to be on the ship.

-1. An emitter is an emitter, a super matter core is a super matter core. Just, leave it as is. They're already difficult to use effectively and are highly limited.

emitters were made to harm people because it made in character sense that giant beams of energy would do more then give you a nice tingly sensation, they were never used as weapons in large scale until CM came by because we're the only server which has such a combat heavy focus.

now if emitters were instead modified to add radiation effects as well i might see that as plausible.
