being cut open halts embryo development

Post by Siserith Vassada » 23 Sep 2015, 23:16

Bug Description: it seems that being midway though surgery makes it impossible to burst

Steps to reproduce:
1.be midway in surgery while infected
2.wait...
3.die 30 mins later without bursting

Or maybe you got preferences turned off, or no ghosts waiting for burst.

The burst time is pretty randomized.
Each tick, there is a chance for embryo progress to rise up.
The higher the progress, the higher the chance for the stage to rise up by 1

Once you enter the 4th stage, the progress is rising up even slower, until eventually it hits the last stage where you burst.

Speaking in nest resist time, the shortest I ever lived before bursting, I managed to escape the resin nest twice. Last round, I managed to escape 4 times, then I bursted at the 1/2 way to escape again.

personal preference has nothing to do with bursting stop spreading this rumor around

There needs to be a player who has xeno on to pop, yes. That's what people means.
