Persona: James is fairly solid for being a marine. He might have had a few issues when young, yet it's hard to spot on him. Yet, it might show if you really want to piss him off. Which means he might have slight anger issues. It's only been seen twice, and both times landed him in jail. Off the subject of his anger, he is pretty straight forward. Calm, cool, collective. You name it, and you might actually get used to him. He is one of those 'get shit done' people, still with being cool.
History:
Jim had an average space life. He was born on the USS Sharlton, to Frank, and Maria Sanders. He was the second son in the family, his brother being Zachery. Jim grew up with no wonder in joining the marines, and with doubts he'd make the cut because of his twitching. It didn't stop his father from shoving him into a range with an armory of weapons with his brother. From what we were told. A ten year old and a twelve year old shooting so their father can see their skills isn't that bad of an idea. Unless you were Jim. He liked shooting for the sport of things, and missed most, for now. This went on for five years, but something happened. An incident with a UPP ship got a lucky shot off at one of the hanger bay, causing a breach which had to be fixed. The crew fixing the breach never returned. Those of you who don't know. His mother was in that group. As of now, he has a dead mother, and a father with full power. At the age of fifteen he was shoved into training with the marines on the ship, and his brother. Orders by the captain. You'd think Jim would hate this, but he grew a liking to the marines and what they did. He already had a love for the weapons, and understood what usually happens on the field. Watching combat footage helped. The learning of squad tactics kinda stopped, and was thrown to his first combat mission at the age of seventeen. This was a week after his birthday. He was given his mother's old revolver for a sidearm. The mission was on Sagius. A planet with an excavation team sent to mine some ore. The site went dark due to something. All they found were some smugglers trying to get the excavation off the planet. This was the cause of his first firefight, which then lead him to his first firefight. Something about the pressure of a live combat situation helped his accuracy, but he learned to not get cocky, because he got a light wound to his lower left shoulder. After returning to the Sharlton and getting what medical needed, he went straight to the command deck and to his father. He had a grin and a half as he pulled his arm back and struck his father to the ground. A lot of yelling and more punching went on, before Jim was yanked off his father like an alcoholic at a bar. Detained for assaulting a commander, and insubordination. He was detained for a short time, before release. The reason of his release was caused by UPP. They assaulted the Sharlton killing the MPs guarding the security, and most of the men in there. Even in the mist of battle, the squadrons on the Sharlton went to get the kid they grew up with out of the cell and into combat. Even after defending the ship from the UPP, the few MPs still wanted him in a cell, but the marines and his father just brushed the MP off. Somehow, after attacking the CO of a ship, he gets off scott free. Shortly after, Jim wanted in the marines, but requested a transfer. An unlikely transfer to some squadron. Bravo squadron to the USS Sulaco. He met a lot of interesting folks on the ship and in the squad. He walked on with a twitch and a smirk. Given the name Twitch by his fellow marines. He actually liked it.. It took time for him to get accepted as a Banter. Nobody 'disliked' him, yet they didn't like him. At the beginning he was just there, even if he was a decent shot, and a good squad mate. Time after time, Banter kept growing on him. Slowly making his way up in liking. He started off with getting to know about the Squadron and it's past, even if it was dark..
After joining the Colonial marines, Twitch found himself in a squadron known for their Banter, and ability to work with anything.
His most known stance caused the kid to encounter things beyond what humans can comprehend. Most noted is the fact that his bullet intake is usually high, managing to survive anything thrown at him. Rumors say he's survived direct fire while tossing a frag grenade to save his squadron from an enclosed position. To take it lightly, After the incident with LV-624, and Deadulus Prison.
Relations: Jim gets along with most of everyone. With few exceptions. All his major relations are from Banter and Sanctum itself, with few others like Bigby Farkes, Melissa Wright, Dakota Marshall, and more to go on, but the list is long. He does only dislike one in all of the marines. Bill Carson, Yet there is a quiet bond in combat which makes them manage in heavy combat.
Basic appearance:
James stands at 5'8 with an above average build for his size. His face has this 'lets get shit done' attitude to it. His eyes glow a deep blue, which sometimes dart around. He has 2 tattoos. One of them is one his chest.. It's a heart with the name Maria on it. It's to respect his mother. The second is on his leftt shoulder. It's the Banter insignia.
