10 (Royal Army: 7 years of service) (USCM: 3 years of service)
Notable traits:
A competent squaddie with the ability, skill and knowledge to carry out his orders to the best of his ability. Enjoys sticking together with those whom he relies on. Will attempt to keep anyone he can safe and alive, especially those he feels are his friends.
Persona:
Light hearted and Fun loving he's always up for a laugh, so long as he doesn't get in too much trouble. Reserved in his comments on other people, he's less talkative towards people he doesn't know. He's displayed his ability to remain calm and collected under fire and remains fiercely loyal to those who have saved him from himself and enemy fire over the years.
Basic appearance: Standing at 6ft 3" Chris is a top heavy individual, he's fairly fit, has ginger hair and a great big bushy beard.
History:
Being born into a military family Chris initially perused an academic career, attending university in Aberdeen he graduated at the age of 22 with an honors in History. After failing to obtain employment in the civilian world he decided to continue the Peach tradition, signing up to the Scottish Guards regiment in the British Army. He passed training with above average scores and was assigned to the 1st Battalion of the Scots Guards.
Upon the outbreak of the 2nd Scottish war of independence Chris fought with elements of the regiment that remained loyal to the British government and participated most notably in the battle of Aviemore and the siege of Glasgow. Here he gained his reputation as a reliable solider in which his superiors could trust and was promoted to corporal after successfully evading capture by the enemy after the destruction of the 1st Mechanised Division in the Highlands. He underwent parachute training and was assigned to the third Battalion the Parachute Regiment before being redeployed to assist in the bitter urban combat of the Glasgow siege. Here he lost his left leg to an IED on a routine patrol through the suburbs of the city and was evacuated. Three days later the central belt was "glassed" and victory achieved over the Scottish Nationalists through the British governments deployment of nuclear weapons.
After receiving a medical discharge and having witnessed the annihilation of what he considered home, Chris emigrated to America and joined the USCM, receiving a replacement limb before being assigned to the U.S.S Sulaco.
Relations:
Chris' closest relations remain with his family. His mother, Veronica Peach, passed away after a car crash at the age of 67 and his father, James Peach, continues to live in the United Kingdom. Having no siblings Chris relies on his Squad mates viewing them as the family that he never had and will protect and bully them as such. He particularly enjoys the company of anyone with hair and/or a brain.
Likes: Competent leaders, Doctors that are able to put him back together, Premium Cigars, Chuckling and an unhealthy amount of Cider.
Dislikes: Incompetence, refusal to follow acceptable orders, any form of rebellion, Urban combat, Landmines, lack of ammunition, surrendering.
Strengths: Battle hardened, can also act as a small pack mule when needed and is able to drink a keg of cider in two minutes flat and only die a little bit.
Weaknesses: Terrified of heights and has a tendency to overthink things as well as missing things that are blatantly obvious.
Edit: Implemented some of the corrections that were suggested, I appreciate the feedback guys.

Either way good read.
George S.Patton once said:No bastard ever won a war by dying for his country. He won it by making some other poor dumb bastard die for his country.
I don't like cute things.
