Description of the incident: Round ended, wanted to kill my self. Killed myself. I got banned for killing myself.

What you did was against the rules. Serve your time.

EDIT: Let me revise: You were in perfectly good health and decided to kill yourself at the end of the round. If an attack log goes off, it's an instantaneous three hour ban.

Also you're in the wrong section.

We have a very strict EORG policy. If you make attack logs thats not against xeno you get a 3 hour ban. You didnt even state Which protocal was broken.

We also consider ERG (end of round grief, you don't put the of in acronyms guys) breaking RP blatantly (random suicides), setting off explosions, and attacking other friendly players.

Wasn't exactly a random suicide tbh. I was trapped in surgery after no one would open the door.

That is still no reason to suicide. If you were stuck in a room on a ship full of people walking around, wouldn't you just wait it out instead of ending your life.

No griefing
Griefing - Defined as the perceived intent of one player wanting to cause grief to other players or to the server without any roleplay or reason. The emphasis is on "intent". If an admin determines that the player's intent is to break roleplay, the player should expect swift retribution. Any damage to the station or players caused by griefing can be repaired at an Admin's discretion.
Examples of Griefing:
A marine grabs a gun and immediately starts shooting other marines for no reason.
A player attempts to break the ship or release the singularity for no reason.
Harming other players (of the same species) at the end of the round. Marine vs Xeno is fine. End of Round Grief is an IMMEDIATE 3 hour ban with no warnings.

Far as I'm concerned again it says no where that you can't kill yourself. As well as in the examples; none of which fit what happened. I killed no one so again the ban is unjust.

End of round grief is unfortunately not specified like it should be in our rules. We're currently working on that, but because there's no specific area of the rules defining ERG I can see why you'd be confused by your ban.

You were banned because our ERG policy also extends to random acts of violence, RP breaking, and other such things. It is unfortunately not specified, as I said, but the fact still remains that you did break our ERG policy.

Basically what you're saying is you're banning me for a rule not implemented yet. So again I'm gonna request I get unbanned and something is done about this because clearly it's unfair.

We have a rule stating no end of round grief, the problem is that we don't specify what we mean by that because it's a broad term. The rule is still there, just isn't detailed very well. I've stated what we consider end of round grief, and what you did is breaking the rules by what we consider end of round grief.

You attacked someone during the end of the round and therefore you were going to be banned for 3 hours minimum my staff were not in the wrong here.
