Alien/Marine Balance Rant

Helmets (That block the main attack plan of Aliens,AKA Huggers)
Medic Supplies
Engineer Class that can near INSTANTLY Weld Vents/Doors/Lockers to block alien movement
Non-Bullet Block Building Items, (Grilles,Tables,Plasteel Barricades) (Aliens CANT get through these almost always requiring Acid, THAT takes time, and get Shot Selected, said Item/Barricade)
Fire Grenades (Extreme XENO Weakness)
Frag Grenades
Webbing to hold almost EVERYTHING (That is small)
Supply Drops
Orbital Bombardment
Stronger SL Helmets that can block 2 Huggers and have Cameras in them
Special Ammo

Aliens- (What we are Missing, NOT what we have)
We do not have:
-Special Barricades that can harm the Marines and allow US to Spit/Pounce/Throw Huggers through
-Super OP Armor (The Crusher does not count as he has to be facing a certain Way to do so,while Helmets,SL, and Spc block no matter WHICH way they face, and the Armor still protects from Slashing.
-Easy to Use, and Plausible in many Situations, Special Ranged attack (Ahem, Snipers,SADARS,Grenades,Smartgun,Flame thrower,Frag,and Fire Grenades)
-Quick Medical Regeneration( notice, QUICK . Weeds are not QUICK, and weeds are easy to destroy)
-(Major) A Good Amount of DEDICATED Players (Unlike Marines who most people on CM are pros and LOVE to Play, but people dont like Xenos because they are almost always the Losing Team)
-We cant unweld Vents like we could in Pre-Alpha (Not to my Knowledge)
-(Major) We don't have a Higher Command to assist us in the Round
-We have little Storage Space For Huggers, While Marines have, Backpack,Belt,Armor,Webbing to store ammo to C4 to Beacons
-(Major) We don't have any Assistance (Comparing this to Supply Drops, Idk what Aliens would get but we need SOMETHING)



Disclaimers: This is a RANT, because I was pretty darn Angry at the Time.
NOT ALL OF THIS MAY BE ACCURATE
I know I didn't add a "What Aliens HAVE" Due to it being pretty Small, but I will add it if it is Requested
I know not all of this is Plausible because they are Aliens.



Notes:
I really just wrote this because Marines get all this new Stuff and Buffs, while they Get beat by some New Alien Tac they Run to the Fourms to get it Nerfed to Hell.

Pre-alpha unwelding was a glitch...
It was literally "I used a hugger and the vent unwelded".

A good crusher can take down welded doors and girders like they're nothing.

Ravagers and queens are immune to fire.

Carriers can carry 8 huggers at once.

Crushers are near-immune to explosives (except AP SADAR)

Win rates aren't even (xeno minors aren't wins to anyone) but marines are NOT as a whole either a cohesive unit or competent.

Most rounds marines are their own worst enemy.

Honestly, there really isn't any balance. It's either the Marines are too strong or the Aliens are too strong. It's kinda why I just stuck with observing and chatting with admins. Certain things of the game bug me and to me, it makes it unfair. But I just deal with it and don't play that often.

Aliens have resin structures too. Why are you getting upset over tables and plasteel barricades? Bug zappers/grilles I can understand.

You gotta understand that the marines and aliens are not only two different factions but two different species entirely, and they're going to use different tactics.

Honestly my biggest problem out of anything is e-grilles. God, they're a pain in the ass. Since the Queen and Ravager are immune to fire, maybe they should be immune to e-grilles, too.

The rest of the rant, though, I have problems agreeing with. You're requesting that xenos get the exact same buffs as marines do, but considering that these are two asymmetrical forces, that seems like a bad idea.

Xenos are strong in melee while marines are strong at range -- it's been that way and should continue being that way.

Xenos being able to carry 2 huggers (excluding carriers) is a good thing. That means one xeno can take out one marine, or two if the marines have weakened helmets. It encourages them to stay the hell away from groups unless they have multiple huggers, and upholds a reliance on the hive.

An Empress overwatch role might be kind of cool -- powerful psionic ability to see out of any purple sac of weeds like some sort of xeno AI, but other than that, I don't think any outside forces should be too involved.

Yeah, I'll give 'em e-grilles. They're really a detriment to both sides, seeing as how any marine that runs into them is most likely going to go into shock because of the hallos damage they get from burns.

Also another shit about our resin it is shit i have made 10 layers of that shit and you fucking marines go shoot threw it like no problem (which is getting fixed)

I'm going to call bullshit right there. Compare three pistol rounds to the chest for a marine and for a xeno. The xeno runs onto weeds for AT MOST one minute and returns to full health. A marine, however now has to leave the battle completely and receive lengthy surgery to return to full health. Honestly, this list's saltier than the Dead Sea. I mean come on. You mentioned that xenos have, "little Storage Space For Huggers." How many times in canon sources have you seen anything other than the carrier even look at a hugger?

Praes and spitters can break grilles with heavy spit. It only takes two spits as a prae, which is 10 seconds.
