Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
I like to make sure all of my inventory spaces are packed, so I'm good to go as a marine. Sadly, those ear spots on our characters can't hold a lot, so how about some glow sticks? Some potent, military grade glow sticks would be practical and useful, and it'd compliment the flares in lighting up the darkness.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Having a backup light and a way to color code dark paths with light to guide marines and such, and general flare like usage too(would work well for small rooms).
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Using that usually void second ear as a backup light, and providing more light and colored light for the marines and/or survivors. Glow sticks could signify dangerous areas and create temporary(but long lasting) paths for the marines to follow through the dark. Creativity with their use could branch out, especially if many colors are made.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Glow sticks would function as a flare with a weaker illumination, with more colors, and a longer lifespan(at least 1.5x the flare's current lifespan).

Re: Glow Sticks
Nice idea but also sorta along the same lines as the M94 Marking Flares which are also more 'lore' friendly

Re: Glow Sticks
Meh, glow sticks are a general and simple thing that can be squeezed into most universes. Meh, rarely see those used.

Re: Glow Sticks
+1 Sure, but make them limited and rare. Maybe only ordered by cargo? Maybe in an emergency box in your backpack? I like the idea.
