Automated System To Alert Dominate Team To Win

Summary:My suggestion is that if the population of one side goes below a certain threshold, for example there is less than 30% of a preset number population number, that the game will automaticly tell the dominate team of their numerical superiority and push them to attack the enemy.

Benefits:It might help cut down on round that drag out for a additional hour as we patiently wait for the winning team to finally decide to go on the offensive, or wait for a admin to get bored enough to push the winning team to attack.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):I'm not certain onto how such a system would function code wise, but the ultimate idea is to try and encourage one side that has killed off most of the other to push their advantage. Right now there's no way for command (queen or comm) to know the real situation in terms of enemy composition.

I've been debating a bit more realistic way of doing this.

Marines: The CC sensors build accuracy over time (or as more xeno corpses are brought to be studied). After 1 hour there is an announcement showing X xenos with an accuracy of +/- 10, after two hours +/- 5, and after 3 hours it's perfect.

Xenos: The Queen can stop to concentrate on her hivemind link to all Xenos and "feel" movement on Resin, allowing her to count the number of Marines in the area with an accuracy of +/- 10 within the first hour, +/- 5 after two hours, and then with perfect accuracy after 3 hours.

+/- 10 is a bit too large of a margin imo. Maybe something like +/- 6 at the hour and half mark with rapidly increasing accuracy every half hour after? From what I've seen rounds of a couple hours aren't too bad but once it starts pushing at 3-4 hours salt intensifies among players and staff alike.

You're probably right. 10 is a bit large. Perhaps half-hour announcements after the first hour.

Yea, marine announcements which xenos can't understand or it will be metagaming. Perhaps the Empress could whisper to the Queen in place of MOTHER.
