The flamethrower could be something more

The flamer atm is decent for clearing weeds and eggs, but it runs out of ammo quickly and the fire sometimes disappears very fast.

Something like this could make the flamer a viable main weapon for spcs, and a marine to be feared.
I'm thinking non-lingering flames but if you get caught in the blast it will hurt and maybe set you on fire.
Whadya think?

The FLAMETHROWER is a DANGEROUS weapon, however it was scale down for accuracy. Holy shit, the flamethrower was devastating when first created.

The flamer is pretty descent at clearing, but as he said it runs out of ammo quick.Another thing is that you almost never kill a xeno with it.Most of the times I have used it xenos just run right off,atleast from my experience.

Ah, a buff to the Flamethrower? That will be nice, since the Spec's weapon are limited. And Engi's turrets go kap-put once retreat. I remember the grenade launcher was just a launcher.... Good thing Grenades are more useful.

The whole point of the flamer not being the best is because you can take it, regardless of what weapon you choose.

The 'lighting things on fire part' probably hasn't been implemented yet, but the flamer is already using less fuel than compared to the past.
