Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):So when you click rest and double click on a tile near you, you crawl. If your wounded it will take more time to crawl and if you aren't there will be about a 5 second cool down for unwounded crawling and maybe a 10-15 second one for wounded crawling.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Adds a small chance for people laying in crit to get help, also makes supa stealthy marinez (To acid they would still count as standing)

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): A few peices of coding, this is on D20 station btw.

I think the best way you could make it work is like so.
You have to have an empty hand, you click on a tile and you move to it, it should also show that in the chat "UrisMcTestSubject is crawling on the floor"

Fun fact:you can already crawl just it requires to have both legs cut off.I'd be more in favour of allowing crawling to take place when you are injured and can't stand.

Yes,we can now have marines crawling to the dropship with a blood trail behind them for more,cinematic effect of gore and shit.

Is this still being considered? The current mechanic in place (which I fail to see since it rarely comes down to having both your legs cut off) is worthless.

What if you make the "Rest" intent to be like the "Walk" intent, but reducing a lot the movement speed, including the properties of the "Rest" intent too of course.

Seeing as some discussion of limb slashing was kicking back up, it seems time to bring this up again.

Lifeweb has a system very similar to the one in the OP. Whenever you are on the ground (resting, missing limb, injury) clicking on an adjacent tile with an open hand moves you to that tile, putting a message in chat.

I can't really think of any balance concerns with this, and it's great for atmosphere. Maybe add a chance of worsening wounds like dragging if it's too exploitable.

Really adds to the immurshuns and will give some hope to the guys who get left behind without a foot on the riverbank while the entire force is retreating back to the LZ. I think it would be great if you managed to pull off some Mark Wahlberg in Lone Survivor scenario where you get blown up by a rocket and crawl back to the LZ.

+1 really unbelievable that even in bad condition marines cant crawl TO DA CHOPPAAHHH!!111 Also crawling may work as counter for runner\hunter jump, because...why not.
