Make crushers unable to carry huggers.

((Edited to remove runner nerf option, after watching for a while they seem to need the ability to carry to have a purpose, even if it makes no sense cannon/rp wise))

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):Crushers, your xeno equivalent of a triceratops, being able to carry anything makes no sense thus they should be unable to carry huggers or drag/pick up things. After all when your limbs are made up of hooves, you weigh more then a tank and use every limb to run at high speeds through walls and the like, carrying a squishy hugger in your hooves makes no sense what so ever. ((I should mention, in actual cannon you don't even get other types of xeno from humans as the outcome is based on form, like the original runner came from a dog, and I'd assume if crushers were cannon something like a rhino/triceratops)



Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):RP wise makes the crusher less op, as currently it acts like a 4 legged 2 armed monster instead of what it is, a triceratops dressed in black.Bring some balance to the crusher who can simply charge, stop and drop huggers on marines without issue./u]

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):Balance/rp

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Remove hand slots/the pull/pick up options.

+1 for crushers. It's not really that huge of a nerf, crushers can still 1 hit kill marines even if this is implemented. It'll just make them slightly less OP. Runners need that bit to actually be useful at all.

I'm +1s for removing Crusher's ability to hold huggers. But ONLY Crusher's. Leave poor runners alone, they are good as they are.

-1, the crusher could have a set of forelimbs just like the queen to carry two huggers in. Since they are non-cannon and the server takes some creative liberties with some sprites I don't see an issue with giving that as an excuse

Due to this suggestion being made before the major Xeno rework, I'll +1, simply because Xenos need nerfs, and if Crushers are forced to perform their role, it may actually be a benefit for the Xenos.

Can't fully go into why you're wrong again, posted about this before. Xenos kill to reproduce. Marines kill to kill. Marines are fragile. One hit can break your ribs and it's over. Ravagers literally one shot feet. Xenos have many unlimited ammo aoe stuns. Marines only get weaker and weaker in number while xenos grow. Xeno lives are not valuable. You die as marine? 9/10 it's over, you're not getting back into the game. But xeno, just respawn. EASY. Oh and you get free starter monkeys everywhere.

+1 for making them unable carry huggers, they need weaknesses, like every caste, this can be one of them, they already can charge and fuck up someones day real nice, stomp in a huge radius, why do they even need huggers? how DO they even carry them? last time i saw they did not had any arms to do so

See, Crushers have the strongest tackle ingame. They don't NEED huggers whatsoever. +1 for those reasons

People are already not playing crusher a lot you know... They're an integral part of a hive and they need huggers to have an extra punch in a charge. There's no need to remove their hugging ability. ICly, it could simply be that they hold huggers in a space under their carapace and they release them when they want.

The marine OP argument is a bit silly, there's even a post stating that Aliens have been given the edge when it comes to balance due to the fact that not as many people are willing to play them so they need to make up for it.

For me, it makes sense for the Crusher to not have huggers. They aren't evolved for it, if you look at them, they're strictly on all fours with shorter beefy legs like that of a Rhino. They're not the hive's hunters nor are they the hive's workers, they are strictly a Guardian/Combat caste that are there to bust through heavy enemy resistance. They clear mines, barricades, block bullets and shield their sisters. They should focus on leading the charge and smashing the shit out of everything, and let their more agile sisters deal with the host collection.

So +1 gives the caste it's own niche, maybe, give them some more tankier abilities to help them focus on being a pure Guardian.
