Description of the incident: I'll be quick and i expect the investigators/admins to be quick too. Today i was playing as researcher, working in my lab as usual when the CMO appears and makes 120u of mutagen in the chem dispenser of the research lab and then he says "Artivus Grav says, "Could i test somethink on you" (this is where everything starts) and i reply to him "Aidan Bennett says, "You can't test mutagen on me", he keeps insisting in game and i told him that i do not want the mutagen to be tested at me, i even warn him in looc that "LOOC: Aidan Bennett: no mate, if you manage to mutate somebody, you can be banned for being a dick or for powergame". At this points i just ignore him and i keep doing my thing and then he says over the medbay channel "Artivus Grav [MedSci (CMO)] says, "I wish to have Aidan arrested for not following orders", i go down to the research lab and then he tells me "Artivus Grav says, "Give me your ID" "Artivus Grav says, "Im demoting yoi", then i tell him "Aidan Bennett says, "You can't demote me for no reason" and he tells me "Artivus Grav says, "]Um yes im head of this area", he starts to push me and he tries to take the id from me, i warn him in looc "LOOC: Aidan Bennett: do i need to ahelp you for being a dick?" even when i tell him to stop, but he keeps doing it so i run to the hangar while he keeps pushing me, i get in the hangar operating theatre, i take an anesthetic syringe and i inject him with it (i firmly belive that i as a researcher can use anesthetics against someone that is not only only trying to demote me for no reason, but also assaulting me and trying to take the ID from me breaking the rule 6 of marines) and right when i inject him with the anesthetics, i ahelp about it as fast as i can "PM to Staff (Gameplay / Roleplay Issue): Artivus Grav is trying to demote me for no reason. i tried to talk to him and he was just pussning me to take my id" and while he is paralized i speak with the other doctor that is with us in there, but while i speak to her explaining what happened, the cmo gets up and injects me with anesthetics, he takes the ID from me, while im paralized, i ahelp about this, i get up and i report this to the MP, the MP talks with the cmo and it end with me being demoted from a researcher to an Alpha Squad Marine (lmao), ruining the round for me.

How you would punish the accused: Job ban from any position of power (Cmo, Ro, Co, etc..) and some days of ban for being a dick (rule 1) and stealing the id from someone (marine law 6).

75% of this is a IC issue and the rest is him being a dick. Id job ban him fot being incompetent and a dick though.

He can demote you for no reason or have you arrested, thats a IC issue.

To give more insight to this, I asked Antivus Grav the reason for demotion, and he told me it was because of disobeying the order to give him a syringe gun. It seems he didn´t understand OOCly he is able to make those with the machine, so he got angry at you for it and wanted to demote you for disobeying. While it is quite shitty thing to do from him, I felt it was more like an IC issue that the MP should had handled. There was also proper escalation of force, argument -> disarming/pushing -> melee weapons (aesthetic).

How ever the ID theft thing was something which went too far and I told Antivus Grav to give it back and he did after demoting you from the job. Your logs point out that the CMO was being a douche and doing his job in a wrong way, considering he did make 120 units of mutagen and harass his worker for refusing to be damaged by the mutagen. And now that I saw the talk logs, checked Cocoboy´s previous notes (which had previous offense related to mutagen) and witnessing the ID theft, I would had given him a job-ban from CMO had I known as much as I do now.

While most of this is IC issue while the rest is a mix of "Don't be a dick" and "Incompetent marine" Now onto the situation.

The "ID theft" isn't really ID theft as the CMO was the researchers boss therefor taking his ID for demotion (if the demotee refuses to hand over the ID) is allowed as long as the ID is returned after, so that's legit. Now on the other hand the reason for demotion is shit and the reason was becuase Aidan was refuseing to have mutegen tested on him.

Due to this and the fact that Artivus Grav was being a dick and slightly incompetent about the entire situation (showcased by his lack of medical knowlage on what a mutegen will do to a human, aggressive attitude and constant (L)OOC about failRP) A job ban is more then in order from all command and medical positions.
