I mean, he probably had to deconstruct every table in the cafeteria and work for like 20-30 minutes to prepare a pod fort like that, so it's either the slowest alien advance ever or it's meta.

Metagaming to the max. Pretty cheap way of trying to edge a win.

Kind of depends, its possible to do this the moment aliens board if you quick enough, its a complicated defense somewhat, but possibleKilm wrote:Metagaming to the max. Pretty cheap way of trying to edge a win.

You don't have to immediately jump to the conclusion that someone had a terribly unfair advantage and broke rules just because they did something remotely cool. The metal was from a leftover supply drop never sent to the surface because of a mutiny. It was literally a sheet of 50 metal. Construction began when hangar was lost.

I'm not jumping to any conclusions, unless you're referring to another poster. I'm observing that it's metagaming. Which it is - it's totally unrealistic behaviour. Although it took me a while to realise they were standing on tables!spheretech wrote:You don't have to immediately jump to the conclusion that someone had a terribly unfair advantage and broke rules just because they did something remotely cool. reminds me of the days on the old sulaco when we'd have a mega table taking up 3 quarters of the briefing room.

Remind me how using a stacking exploit to delay the round is cool. Consider the following:spheretech wrote:"remotely cool"
