Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
During a round, I executed an SL for bringing the Queen (alive) to the Sulaco, a few minutes later, Gentlefood PM'd me asking why I did, we had a discussion and he said to post this on the forums if I wanted to change the rules. Not going to say which SL it is, since I don't want to be a dick.
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
If command cannot execute a marine due to either being incompetent or the marine who must be executed runs beforehand, they should/marines should be able to take action in their own hands and it should not be counted as grief, as it's justified ICly and sort of OOCly, and would keep a line between griefers and actual people trying to take action.
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Literally just don't count unofficial IC executions as grief.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Marines justified executions SHOULD NOT be counted towards grief.

Sounds more like an issue with a specific moderator/administrator which should be settled here.

This'll just create an endless train of valid hunting, and create constant valid hunters on our server. It doesn't work well with ANY server and is a very grey area.
Because of this, I'm giving it a -1, as taking the law into their own hands IS grief, simply because from your point of view, you think it's ok to take someone out of a round that lasts 1-3 hours typically.

There's two legal ways going about this:
Arrest the marine.
Option #1(RP): Contact centcom and ask for approval. Explain the situation.
Option #2(Direct): Ahelp, asking to perform the execution. If you get staff approval, it's cool

-1 Generally its never a good idea to remove someone from the round unless they are shooting at you.

This will just cause problems. You need to contact an admin first t make sure it is justified.
