Mark 'Angel' Burden

Your Byond Key: Centive

Your Character Name: Bob Sunday

Accused Byond Key(if known): pancakeflipper

Character Name: Mark 'Angel' Burden

Approximate time and date of the incident (Central US Time for fastest results): April 1st, somewhere around 7 pm-ish

What rule(s) were broken: Lethal Force

Description of the incident:
This round there was a triage in the nexus ran by a Doc(Forgot his character name) and a Medic(Mark 'Angel' Burden), I got infected and had to run to it, Doc removes larva out of me but gave me a fracture in the process (understandable) then Waited for further medical treatment but Medic told me he can't treat it, I at least wanted some form of medication because my screen was getting darker but instead I got dragged while being punched multiple times by the medic, I got flashed and got buckled to a chair, I'm now in crit, the medic told another medic to keep watch over me, I was still in crit and loosing oxygen so the other medic had to waste valuable supplies in order to keep me alive from the injuries the first medic gave to me (Mark 'Angel' Burden), so after a while I got on the shuttle and on to the sulaco medbay I was extremely injured so I died in the surgery room before the Doctor there could treat me.

I can understand the medics frustration with me but why does it mean you can freely beat a marine down to crit. this is counter productive as a medic because another medic had to expend supplies to keep me alive which was useless because I died anyway when I got the sulaco's medbay, that other medic could've stayed and helped on the ground instead of looking after me. it was nearing the round end so it wasn't that bad.

How you would punish the accused:At least a note or something? I don't know the level of punishments, I just assumed it depends on the admin.

Ckey: Pancakeflipper
IGN: Mark 'Angel' Burden

The situation from my POV is as follows:
I establish a Triage with my other squad SL. around the time "bob sunday" came into the triage we had 2 critical patients one that we put aside to remove the larva from bob. During the operation we get alot of injured inside (cant recall the exact number but it must have been around 5 semi critical patients that needed stablization. Once bob got the larva removed we pushed him out of the triage becouse we had more pressing matters to attend too. after a solid 2 minutes of bob asking for fracture repair we told him "Bob we can not help you now". But (let me state again) from my POV he kept at it for 3 more minutes.
So I took action by punching him down (wrong intent meant disarm) and stunning him and asking my fellow marines to keep him out of the triage. After a short time I had to medevac a cryobag with a unstable patient and found "bob sunday" in worse health then I left him. So we put him onto the rasputin and gave him Dexalinplus AND got a marine next too him too give him Dexalin a minute or so later (too prevent Overdose).

keep in mind me forcefully getting rid of bob from the triage did not envolve "Lethal Force" they were 1-4 punches and me stunning and dragging him. Only later did his lung lung collapse or some other medical reason for oxy damage.

hope this sheds light on the situation at hand.

I can understand 1 accidental punch, but 4 is a bit too many for a wrong intent.

Kind of seems like a IC issue though, considering there was no attempt to massively harm or kill.

If it was an accidental intent then I completely understand (sometimes you forget to switch intents), if it's true that you didn't mean to actually "punch" me to crit (I was already injured too) then I'm okay with it. I only reported it because I died from it later on from it wasting the supplies used on me. I only reported this because I died because of it and thought it was kinda wrong if I hadn't died I would not have reported.

I want to act as witness sort of since I was the "Doc" who pulled the larva out of him. I want to say sorry first about the broken chest that was due to the roller bed and the 80% chance of it screwing something up with the saw and I didn't notice til it was a tad late, and I couldn't fix you because like Pancake flipper said there was about 2 or 3 crits and 4 or 5 noncrit but seriously injured marines. To the witness part, the server at the time was extremely laggy at the time so multiclicking was sort of something you just had to do to get anything done, so I think the 4 punches would be possible

This is mostly an IC issue. I looked into it and don't really see anything bad enough that deserves a ban. Il issue a note on the c-key and that's about it.
