Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): Look, we strive for as much realism as we can muster on this server. Therefore I suggest we do the most sensible thing and make engineers in CM more like actual engineers. Wirecutters? Wrenches? SCREWDRIVERS? I cannot suspend my disbelief far enough to believe that this is what the combat engy of the future goes into battle with. In real life, engineers rely on their sweat, ingenuity, and two basic tools to do everything. Still skeptical? I'll explain more below.

Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc): Let's say you need to get a door open. First you would use WD-40 to make the panel slide off, then you would spray it again to lubricate the wires, when the wires are slippery the door will slide open. It's not rocket science people.

"B-but Edgelord, how could we bolt the door open if the wires are lubricated?"

Excellent question! By using the duct tape on the door, you would be able to duct tape the door open! Tactical engineering at its finest, folks.

And this would add a lot of much needed mechanics (heh) for the engineer. Need a new attachment? Duct tape an emitter to the front of your gun. Need to quiet down that marine who hoorahs just a bit too often? Duct tape that cuck. Need to make a quick getaway from a xeno? Spray yourself with WD-40 and they'll never be able to grab you! The upper z-level's the limit. I will accept your +1s now.
