Technically I was hype even two and a half months before release.
Fallen Empires, uplift, anal probing, factions and multi specie empires, developing colonies (with event chains).
Not to mention randomized research deck.

I've also been interested in getting this for awhile now, Really hoping I can get some friends to buy it as well.

I assume multiplayer will be similar to previous Paradox games, so perhaps someone can get a CM round going when it's released.

Yes, as soon as its out and we all get our hopes crashed in some singleplayer sessions I'll set up our Colonial Stellaris.

game's good, but what I fucking /hate/ about it (getting used to the game still) is the bullshit I've encountered in other paradox games - the game forces a truce right when your armies are about to invade the enemy homeworld with no chance to decline it, and then you're not able to declare war on these fucks for another ten years.
at least I've made a prewar save and now these xeno shitbirds have tasted the wrath of the Imperuim. though I still got the truce forced yet again and one of their colony ships has escaped.
