I used to have multiple accounts that I used to play SS13 on from different computers that I own/owned. I lost account passwords/names very frequently so I would make new accounts on the same computers I used daily, which was my old desktop and old laptop which I have since gotten rid of. I have never multikeyed on the server, but I did have multiple ckeys before. I now only have this one, Friendlydad7.

Was this ban made because of an attempt at cheating by using two computers at the same time, or did an Admin just see the "same IP" warning message and ban them immediately?

I don't even remember having that many ckeys, jesus christ.

I'm not going to make any excuses for how I acted, I was probably high as shit as thats when I was living with five roommates who smoked literally constantly so I probably thought it was a good idea to be a huge douchebag to the admin/insufferable cunt as I tend to find that stuff funny when I'm higher than Europe's immigration rate, luckily I moved out on my own now and my only roommate is my cat. Regardless, I can see why I was perma'd now and won't be getting un-banned.

Yeah, I know that. If I would have known that I was acting that way/was my ban reason I wouldn't have bothered making an appeal because its pretty unacceptable. I made the appeal thinking that it was a accidental multikey ban because a friend of mine plays here and told me about all the new things that were added so I figured I'd make an appeal because I wanted to check out all of the new stuff.

Sorry. We've been undergoing some staff changes and major drama and unfortunatly, permaban appeals are never a "top priority" when they are for toxicity/general shittiness.

I'd say, you might want to come back and check less frequently, or once we've done the headmod announcement and have stuff moving smoothly again.

It takes a whole IRL month (since I opened this thread on April 8th) to sort one ban out though? One person can't "investigate" it in their free time? I mean, I never really played here much in the first place prior to my ban so I doubt theres too much to sift through. I really just want to play on the server again since I heard about all the cool shit you guys added like Mercs, customizable armor/clothing, new classes, new alien classes, new round types. It's like being blue balled.

It's because we have to pull ancient logs, retrieve notes from several Ckeys (because you used several), research those Ckey histories, inquire to other servers, all sorts of stuff.

The More Ckeys you use, the MUCH MORE TIME you make an appeal take.

If you had just "not been an asshole" and then "not tried to evade" in the first place, this wouldn't be the issue.

As a result, there's so much work that has to be done, pretty much no investigators want to take this appeal so it's been pushed to me, and I'm busy AF.

While most of theses issues are months old you did lie in your appeal about not being banned on TG (You currently have a perma ban for this very C-key on TG) and that, combined with other recent incidents on TG, do not fill me with confidence that you aren't just going to come back and pull the shit you did before.

Based upon these notes and a mutlitude of in-game instances where you have openly been disrespectfull towards staff and threating to ban-evade (not to mention the times you have ban-evaded) I don't really see any reason to allow you back into the community.

Now with all of this new information based on your recent issues (newest being one month) on TG and past issues on our server it is entirely up to apop whether he want's you back or not. Personally im neutral.

Man, I got banned on TG for throwing a brain into space on accident. I wasn't even aloud to explain my side so I didn't bother to appeal that one because I knew from previous record I wouldn't pass. I was doing well on that server and helped get a couple griefers banned, but the second I mess up and toss a brain into space on accident - I'm out. I used to play on this server at my Uni's library's computer and never received a warning on that account I had, I actually had a few cool IC friends that would recognize me whenever I got on.
