Description of the incident: I was a survivor, got into the secure storage and started to make my base when I heard an explosion, I got the flamethrower as some predators had been around earlier, another explosion happens, i run to the other side of secure storage and see an opening to the outside where the blast doors are so I fire the flamethrower into the blackness. A marine comes up and walks ONTO THE FIRE, and starts calling me hostile... I asked what the fuck he was doing, "they will get in" attempting to RP fear, and he just goes "they cant go over mines" (not even acting as if he doesn't know what I am scared/what aliens are... granted they may have had first contact but still). I was attempting to patch the breach and tell him about the way in on the other side then bang bang bang he shoots me around 3 times to death... Then says he was defending himself... it had been like 10-20 seconds since I attacked him, clearly I was attempting to talk with him and wasn't actually hostile... he was just stupid and talked into fire. The marines are there to get the survivors... he walked onto the fire, I did not keep attacking him, yet he shoots the crap out of me instantly. The I questioned him via LOOC, and he said I put him into crit which was BS, I toggled medical HUD, he was in orange which then improved to yellowish green seconds later as the picture shows. I mean there was just a total lack of care, and care in their actions.


Evidence (screenshots, logs, etc): Sorry I don't have the logs since my browser froze up and I had to reconnect when I was trying to copy them, but I do have a photo of his health just after it happened. I would appreciate it if someone could get the logs, sorry.

He is the one who is slightly damaged, two other marines showed up a few seconds after he killed me

How you would punish the accused: Survivor is my favorite "job" and I get totally psyched when I get the chance to play a survivor round, and then getting shot to death by some kill happy marine I am way too incensed to suggest a proper ban time.

ah yes, this. The marines showed up a few minutes after I was injured, I called for medical help and you can see the medic healing me there, screenshot of my health https://gyazo.com/fd9b317ee61f00cb7835f15c244c81c6 (A older one, the marines had just arrived and I had only had one to three burn patches applied to myself) He did not fire 'into darkness' as I had my flashlight on my suit, so he might have aimed for me. We had had first contact with a sentinel north of the secure storage so I started setting up defenses, he shot me and I took cover confirming them (the survivor) as hostile and radio ing my position in an calling for medical help. I then moved up and opened fire on the survivor who had attacked a Marine. He also did not just fire once, but I think once or twice more at me. You can also see how well lit it is outside in his screenshot.

It was a 1x1 opening, you were not standing in that 1x1 opening when it blew I fired into that, then you walked into it. I fire a few more times but that was accidental and fired within secure storage away from you. And if you think someone is hostile you return fire immediately, you don't wait 10-20 seconds, alert other marines then fire. Your reaction was totally absurd, why not just fire once, which knocked me down, I was defenseless, take my weapon and have me stand down? nope you decided to keep shooting an old man who was half dead on the ground. It is well lit outside also because you are standing toward the middle of secure storage, move a few tiles to the right and you cant see outside which is where I was standing. You did not take cover, you literally walked in and said "thanks for that", and then we started talking... then you killed me, honestly if you encountered a xeno ICly your character should understand why a survivor would be jumpy, state they are USMC or something, nope you killed me on contact after a since attack you freaking walked into

To summarize:
1.) why not shoot once and disarm the old feeble survivor

2.) why come inside and start talking only to kill me (proof he came inside are the mines he put down)

3.)why start saying "thanks for that" instead of trying to explain who you are, since you wanted to go the talking route first and not open fire immediately when fired upon

4.)why walk into fire

5.)why keep firing until I was dead... bit excessive

Generally you seem like a toxic player who looks for the smallest reason to kill people

this is a 'my word against his' scenario,may we get logs?, and I radio od for backup when I encountered a hostile presence (the rest chasing the sentinel) and I walked in trying to get a better shot at you, while you still had your weapon out, and nuetrilised the threat. You shot a Marine in a combat environment and I had no way to restrain you and I did not want to get close to the hostile element so I shot you from afar. The first shot did not knock you down (atleast I did not see you go down) and you may have had a mele weapon on your person. If a Marine encounters a enemy (that fired upon him first) he does not go to shoot them and then kick there gun away, and I did not know if there was more hostile survivors inside the storage area.

Okay... you say you didn't want to get close? yet you walked in and put mines down/talked to me (<- this is not trying to get a better shot) BEFORE SHOOTING BACK, don't lie... you walked in close, started talking then fired on me. Also I put up a girder which you disassembled specifically to shoot me! If you wanted to avoid conflict since you didn't know who else was in the secure storage why break down a girder separating you and a "hostile" before getting backup.
Also you didn't need to restrain me... I was half dead and in crit on the first shot

No they aren't.... I didn't see the marines gun down Newt after they were bitten, they do protect/rescue survivors... and I wasn't your enemy based on the sentinel you encountered and the fact I didn't fire on you while putting down the mines.

This is just a backwards BS argument by a gun happy marine

So from what I can see here based on logs:

Lucis came to the secure storage location and forced his way in getting hit by fire accidently due to reaction from superman.
Lucis then proceded to make some remarks about it (not really acting like he just got shot by a hostile survivor) and then he calls up his radio and yells that he encounterd a hostile survivor.
Superman walks forward a bit and lucis promtly kills him.

From what I can see there was absolutly no reason for lucis to kill the survivor. Sure he hit you with fire but that was after you blew a hole in his front door, which should be expected when you force your way into a scared survivors holdup. Superman didn't auctally purposefully attack you and you seem to know this becuase you carried on a slight conversation with him afterwords and to make it worse you TOLD HIM you had metal which he wanted so of course he walked over to you.

Have to agree with superman here. You basiclly killed him for no real reason after you told him you had the metal he wanted.

Regardless this seems more like a clusterfuck of an accident then anything and I don't think any actions should be taken.
