Make a server for Hunter Games

Like the name suggests, I would like it if their where a Hunter Games standalone server so People who want to play it all the time can.

The current Alien gamemode is already stale. Making a HG standalone server will split the pop but when you get bored of one you can move to the other.

Unfortunately this is one of those instances where the customer is NOT always right. CM needs a high population to function well.

The server usually gets 60 people rounds, I have played some fun ones when their where only thirty. I agree with you that it needs a high pop to function but a 60+ Server us like China compared to the rest.

Just for that you have my -1, and you also failed to explain what's the thing you want. If you wanted to suggest a Yautja game mode only, then no, devs will need to rebalance an probably redesign the yautja gameplay before even thinking about adding it, it would be kind of fun at first, but everyone will get bored very quickly.

Hunter Games is a Hunger Games gamemode that the admins put on sometimes.

I personally +1 because I don't get to come online often, and I come here to play Colonial Marines, not some other gamemode.

Hunter games are only fun, for me specifically, when the other community members participate and I know the other players. If it's just random violence, that really gets boring fast. So I like how we play a round or two a day that don't last more than a single round of regular CM, because that allows people to do something unique for a change. I wouldn't play a server dedicated to hunter games because winning would be just some random thing instead of something community oriented, and really not that big of a deal.

I think there should be designated hunter games weeks or times so that people who hate HG will know when to avoid it, but splitting the community is a bad idea.
