Give BO/MP's a way to override comms console

Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary):
Essentially by using the same mechanic as red alert swiping how about letting the MP's and BO's by working in unision override the communication lock on distress beacons and communication to USMC?
Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole):
Let BO's contact USMC and send a distress while the CO and XO are fighting off xenos in the hangar or are dead. (They logged out the comms console for some reason...)
Details (Description of how you think this would work, the benefits, etc):
Probably by having two swiping wall machines added to the bridge and one to the brig which requires all three swiped at the same time but they look different and react with lower command authorization.
Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it):
Essentially make it a child of the current swiping machines in the XO CO quaters with a different sprite.
While also adding a check to the login of the comms console for when BO's or MPs login to the comms console to either load the contact USMC or not load it.


This may cause more roleplay situations with BO's/MP's choosing to override what the XO and CO are ordering.

grab your ID, grab spare IDs box, go to the ID console, make full access for both cards, throw the spare access card away. profit.

mostly neutral, cause this can be solved ingame with relative ease.

eh, can you point me to a rule then? not being snarky or anything, just it's the last time I checked it there was nothing about upping your own ID if you need it, only stealing someone else's or adjusting the survivors' ones.

If you don't have acess, then that means you have to steal an ID to gain it. Or, if you are given all access, then the Command with the ability to do so is violating their all access sub rule.
