Summary (a quick, 2-3 sentence summary): I am not good with summaries so here it goes. A belt with 13 filled slots for every surgery tool including those disused like the surgical drill and nanopaste.

Benefits (How this will benefit the server and game as a whole): By spawning a belt or two like this, you remove doctors screaming SURGERY CRATE! SURGERY CRATE! SURGERY CRATE! and makes the hanger medbay more viable for quick triage-style surgery.

Implementation (Optional, if you have an idea how to implement it): Would look the same as the Combat Lifesaver Bag, but with fewer slots for bigger items.

We used to have little briefcases that did just what you're talking about, the issue here is, anyone can just up and swipe a case/belt of these easily, and then start doing surgery they are not meant to if someone has a momentary lapse in watching their gear.

I'm pretty sure they were taken out BECAUSE they were being abused, but I could be wrong since I never actually asked specifically.

Well being primarily a Doc player, I like this.

SO because a RO was too lazy to order a surgery crate, or because a doctor could not just pull a dude like, 14 tiles in 5 seconds to the medbay, we need a entire new bag?

Would still kill because you have to do this fancy click the bed-drag onto you to avoid mastication of internal organs due to a broken chest.

Why does req always order a surgery crate when their autolathe can print the entire surgery kit out easily at the cost of just some of their starting metal and glass?

+ 1 to the suggestion though, another server I play on has something similar to this called a surgery kit, which is just a resprited medkit that only holds surgery goods. Seeing as surgery is used here a lot more, and having access to surgery tools is imperative to good doctors, having this suggestion go through would defo help; ESPECIALLY planet side.

I'm on the fence. On one hand it makes things a lot easier... on the other hand, does it make sense and what will be the side effects of this?

I'm in for a harness or belt that holds lighter weight surgical equipment (Exception being saw and other larger items that can be put in bag or in hand).

One thing though, make it work like the MP belt so that players can see the player has surgical items on him like it does for said MPs. Would help staff see powergamers and also identify field surgeons.

All in all, I like the idea, +1, even if it's a (non-?)deployable briefcase they carry in hand with limited equipment.
