Rule Suggestion
So, a few rounds in the past couple days, I've come in to aliens either outright camping the cyro sleepers spawn area, or waiting just outside of it so when you open the doors and walk out, you're immediately ambushed by 2-3 aliens, or make it 10 feet down the hall before being face-hugged, or having your head cleaved off by a Ravager. My suggestion is that camping the sleeper spawn, or otherwise setting up an ambush for the people coming out of it should be classed as metagaming. The aliens shouldn't even know that's where the Marines are coming from, so there's no reason for them to camp it. And it also gives a completely unfair advantage to the aliens, because a spawning Marine comes in, has no chance to defend themselves in the 5 seconds before being killed or face-hugged.

Actually new marines shouldn't spawn while Sulaco is infested.

Agreed, or something else needs to be done. The aliens do this because it takes a long time to find the last human, so camping the Sulaco Crew Quarters prevents having more humans spawn in that they can't find.Raikyh wrote: Actually new marines shouldn't spawn while Sulaco is infested.
Until a better system is in place, I personally won't do anything against aliens utilizing this tactic.

Yeah, it makes no sense for marines to be spawning in while the aliens are around that area, or even on board the Sulaco. All "sleeping" marines should have been awake by then.

Yeah, that makes sense as well, stopping them from spawning if the aliens have infested the station.

Is there any way to make new joiners that join at round ends considered dead? So the round ends even if they're alive?

Perhaps aliens can destroy or detach the oxygen attached to Sleepers.

I'd rather not make it so that Marines can't keep spawning, cause that's sort of a game thing.
However, I think we can make it, so that at the spawn menu, it says "The Sulaco is Under Seige" or something, by linking it to a command from the Comm panel.
