Full name:
Alyssa Cowper
Nickname(s):
F
Birth date:
Feb. 2151
Age:
23
Position:
Standard, Medic, Smartgunner
Current Rank:
Lance Corporal
Notable traits or possessions:
Her custom made dogtag, held with a ball chain. Contains two discs, describing her name, sex, blood type, age (at the time of creation), religion, and birthplace.
"Tramp stamp" tattoo.
Notably dangerous habit of not wearing a helmet.
Custom road plate and silver band.
Personality:
Kind, compassionate, polite.
When put into a bad position or situation, she becomes noticeably more sardonic.
History:
In shorter, less specific terms, she's been hopping around the Japanese-Anglo arm, looking for places to see and people to meet or possibly shoot at. Her most notable transfers was the USS Nostromo, mainly because she was introduced to some of the people she knows and love today. The second, being the USS Almayer, the current ship she has been deployed to.
Notable Deployments and Assignments:
An abandoned street kid from Mars, she lived in one of the many Cydonian orphanages until she was 15. She then left, in pursuit of adventure and a way off Mars. She took care of herself by working various odd jobs, mainly around the construction sector. There she learned how to handle the various tools of the trade and a few construction tricks or two; and because of the hazardous and deplorable working conditions, what auto-injectors and pills were needed. After her 18th birthday, she went to the nearest USCMC recruiters and signed up; she later celebrated by getting her dogtag and tattoo - and by getting her drink on.
Two weeks later, she began her Basic training. During Basic, her DI had acknowledged and approached Alyssa for her skills in first aid and construction work and suggested that she should join the Combat Engineering course or the Combat Corpsman course.
She took the latter.

An abandoned street kid from Mars, she lived in one of the many Cydonian orphanages until she was 15. She then left, in pursuit of adventure and a way off Mars. She took care of herself by working various odd jobs, mainly around the construction sector. The jobs she worked were enough to get by, albeit in a rough neighborhood occupied by large gangs. As a result, practice with automatic weaponry became a necesessity. After her 18th birthday, she went to the nearest USCMC recruiters and signed up; she later celebrated by getting her dogtag and tattoo - and by getting her drink on.
Two weeks later, she began her Basic training. During basic, her DI acknowledged Alyssa's proficiency with weaponry and suggested in becoming a Specialist or Smartgunner.
She took the latter.
In the five years before joining the crew of the Almayer, Alyssa was excited to see new planets and help out whoever was in need. She often requested a transfer to a new vessel after a combat deployment, which caused some pains in the bureaucracy. Nonetheless, she made sure the headaches caused by her transfers were not in vain and made sure she stuck close to the front, making sure she did her job. When she transferred to the Almayer, she began to feel less interested in seeing new places. As she settled into her new ship, she felt as if the ship was home.
She is currently serving onboard the USS Almayer.
Relations:
She's effectively on good terms with everyone.
She's like a recurring character who comes in to help out the main cast that consists of Xur Dergens, Victor Kaipov, Casca Orvianna, and Bill Carson. Unfortunately George R.R. Martin writes and directs the show; and he somehow managed to get away with a relatively lengthy rape scene between Casca and Carson. - Graffiti by unknown personnel. Get said personnel court marshaled.
Jools Kirby - Close friends. Effectively a little sister to Kirby, and has reportedly made him God-Uncle.
Keep an eye on him though, it appears that he's been on Weyland's shitlist for some reason.
Jessie 'Jester' Streeter - A good friend; despite the dangers a battlefield brings, a marine on the field can notice that they smalltalk as if they were girlfriends hanging out at a Robust Coffee cafe.
Known for rotating in and out and having emotional goodbyes and reunions with Cowper.
Kathleen Redd - A good friend; they occasionally hang out in the Gallery or the nearest bar, having a cup of coffee or glass of wine, and discuss their day.
Whereabouts currently unknown. Rumored to have gone AWOL or honorably discharged with Weyland picking her up shortly after.
Alisa Reiss - A good friend and a medic she would love to collaborate with. The two can sometimes be seen mixing up Tricordrazine-Tramadol flasks in medbay.
Victor 'Orbital' Kaipov - A friend and leader she would be happy to follow. Some marines consider her a "brown-noser".
Was tried for the murder of his squad on ice world "2C01D4M3". Claims his squad had left him for dead. Defendant was declared not guilty. Kaipov expressed disgust over the current state of the Corps, and has been honorably discharged and been reportedly recruited by Weyland-Yutani's Private Military Company sector.
Collin Swarner - A good friend, and with Jessie they often stick together - like the Three Musketeers. A marine can notice their chatter on the general communications channel.
Notable for utilizing a thermal emitter as a means of warding off a CLF patrol.
Reportedly retired, he promises to meet up with Jess some time in the near future.
Harry Cowper - At first, they didn't find out that they were related. After bonding over a series of operations and deployments, the two found out they're twins through a private eye. They've been separated at birth due to disgruntled Weyland-Yutani employees staged an attempted uprising at a hospital, of all places.
Current whereabouts are unknown.
Jim 'Twitch' Sanders - The two have the occasional friendly interaction. Ally has been seen listening to Sanders' stories while in the mess hall.
Xur 'Ghost' Dergens - A squad leader she wouldn't mind being assigned to. The two have expressed their sexual tensions over on general comms, but have kept most of their personal interactions to a minimum. One can also interpret their relation as akin to a fan girl and her hero.
Current whereabouts are unknown.
Borcuse Amada 'Farsight' Girge - Former marine. The two have reportedly fraternized and even became married while in service. Girge has retired.
Records are spotty, they claim that he "has an identical twin and a deceased father" AND "is a notable thief slash looter". Again, records on this guy is spotty.
Melissa Wright - Besides the common connection of Borcuse, the two have looked after each other whenever they cross paths on an operation.
Kazimov Karamov - Often heard shouting at or being shouted by, Cowper. The two are generally on good terms, despite Karamov's insistence on calling everyone an idiot and the Cowpers "fuckmen".
NOTE: Singular is "fuckman." Has been heard over the general communications channel using it against military police officers.
Winter Silverson - The two are best put as acquaintances; it would be a bit of a stretch to call them friends. Cowper has been seen on security footage watching Silverson perform research; and at the end of the day, help with any cleaning up in the lab.
Has not been seen recently, current whereabouts unknown.
Alex Crossman - Fellow combat medic, safe to consider the relations between the two as acquaintances. The two have been alleged to take unused Tramadol after operations for recreational purposes.
Crossman allegedly attempted to kiss Cowper, as if to surprise her. Nothing has been charged, yet.
Frankie Day - A "battle-buddy" assigned to Cowper during an operation in which Ally was a subordinate of Nataly Pilecki-Folk. Considers Frankie a person to depend on.
Caryl Barnhaben* - A SL she has recently served under. Would be willing to follow.
*Likely a misspelling, records are inconsistent for his name.
Zoey Lisile - A medic she has served alongside while assigned to Caryl's squad. Upon being interviewed, Cowper claims that "Zoey's nice."
Tomas Svensson - A fellow medic she considers trustworthy with just about everything.
Akemi Ikeda - A doctor/medic* that is very friendly with Cowper. Too friendly. Cowper and Borcuse allegedly stayed over at Akemi's hotel room during leave. Estimated reports of the visitation's duration range from three to five hours.
Once more, I state that the records kept under the USCM bureaucracy are very spotty when it comes to finite details.
Uriel Turner - Shown appreciation of her rifle skills, during a nearly FUBAR defense of a FOB in the past.

Doctor's note (written while Sulaco was in port):
"Cowper is likely to go SSD at any time - marine has claimed to feel somewhat ill before going SSD. Recently she has symptoms of some form of amnesia - possibly cryosleep induced. I also recommended her to a psychologist - when the Sully returns - to see about her dreams; reason why is that she's repeatedly complained about trouble sleeping due to intense nightmares. Described as hyper-realistic nightmares about the Sulaco being boarded by insect-like monsters and quote "tan-crab face rapists" unquote."
Under the dossier is a piece of college-ruled paper, folded two times. Written on it are minor details about her physical description:
She stands at 5'8". The "Ally" nickname appears to have been Sharpie-ed in.
If she's wearing a set of M3 Pattern Armor, it has a simple doodle of a cow done in white marker or paint, with any black spots being unfilled spots. The cow has a speech bubble, saying, "Moo!".
If she's wearing a M3 Pattern Helmet, it has the words, "Gland, Cowper" in all white-stenciled capitals, located on the front. It appears to be done with spray-paint.
Her skin suggests that she's been out in the sun for a long time. Her tanned skin suggests that she's been out in the sun for a long time. Appears to be between of California Gold and The Okinawan.
She has a dogtag around her neck... it appears custom made.
Stamped on the front: [Alyssa Cowper], [F], [O-], [18], [None], [Cydonia, Mars].
Crudely scratched on the back: "Player for both teams," followed by a winky face.
There is a second dogtag... stamped in Marine typeface:
[Relatives: Harry Cowper - Brother.]
Her face suggests that she is of Anglo-French ancestry. The hidden gem, humble supermodel kind, not inbred tea-sipper mixed with Baguette surrender monkey. If there is such a thing.
Her eyes are light blue.
Her body is significantly curvy; her bust can be roughly guessed as "an above average C cup."
Her lower back shows a tramp stamp tattoo, in an elegant script: "Marines get fucked, one way or another."
She has two tattoos.
On her right forearm is the portrait of a geisha. She has her back exposed as her kimono is flowing down to the floor, while her hair is done in the Yuiwata Shimada with strands here and there flowing out. She is looking away at you, yet she has one side and eye turned over the shoulder, looking at you in a flirting manner.
There is a rococo line of text, at the bottom of the image: Bright, beautiful - Rice paddy near the fields.
On her left forearm is a generic looking skull, with one eye covered by an eyepatch. It's wearing a romanticized pirate's hat.
Both of these are done in black ink. Whoever did these knew what they were doing.
She has a silver ring around her left ring finger.
She has a charm bracelet on her left wrist. It is visually similar to a road bracelet. Its stamped script is too small for you to read.
Simplified psychologist's report on Cowper:
"Cowper is shown to be afraid for her life and her squadmates' lives, due to a relationship with Doctor Duncan McShale, who died during working in a field hospital during the Nonpo Campaign. This fear has also manifested itself in the form of nightmares, set onboard the Sulaco with creatures hunting her being eerily similiar to the ones described in Space Beast.
A scrap of stationary is at the bottom of the folder. It appears to have been part of a beach resort. Scribbled onto it in blue ink:
Wonderful time at the Resort. Drinks and our time were wonderful.
Here's my number and place I'm kinda crashing at:
867-5309
[Address appears to have been torn out, likely done by Alyssa.]
- xoxoxo, Borky
[Bizarrely, a light imprint, in lipstick, of a 5-6 inch (L) - 2 inch (W) object is on the back of the scrap of paper. Shows vague resemblence to a phallic object, due to the nature of the note. Towards the tip of the object is a minor water stain... probably.]
Jessie Streeter interview:
Field Reporter: Hello, I'm here on the behalf of the Marine Fraternization Organization. I was just wondering if you could comment about the relations of one "Alyssa Cowper" and one "Borcuse Girge".
Streeter: Yeah, I know them. What about?
FR: Yes yes, what is their relationship exactly? I'm collecting data for a study.
[5 seconds of silence skipped]
[Sound of a piece of fabric being grabbed. Likely the Reporter's tie being used to choke him.]
FR: I see your'e close with them! Heh, please don't do anything rash.
Streeter: Fine, they're in a relationship. This information better not be used to fuck with either of them. Especially Ally.
FR: I understand your concern, Ms. Streeter. But this information is just one piece of data for a survey spanning the entire MILITARY.
Streeter: Whatever, get out of my sight before I decide to censor the information I gave you.
WYASPBBR#1265 (NOTE: This was reported after we noticed the two coincidentally had leave on the same day. WYASPBBR#1265 was sent from a proxy bug at the Outer Rings Resort on Citadel 12 Station.)
Girge: So, how'd you like this hotel?
Cowper: It's a lot more luxurious, considering our budget consists of two paydays and $1200 in some rogue WY dickhead's money.
Girge: Pfft. The moon's not right, right now. Let's go get ourselves some drinks.
Cowper: Never too early to go to the bar. Besides, it's like what? 6:00 Station Time?
Girge: Mhmm.
[Skipping 1 hour and 30 minutes of ambient noise. Very likely it is the couple getting ready for a night out.]
Girge: You look...
Cowper: Nice?
Girge: Ravishing.
Girge: Well, ladies first.
[Sound of a door being opened.]
[Skipping 4 hours of silence]
[Sound of a door being flung open and then banging shut.]
[Sound of violent creak onto bed, very likely it is the two landing onto it.]
[Skipping 3 minutes of ambient noise, very likely the two undressing.]
[Skipping 2 seconds of a loud noise from the bed. Likely one of the participants tackling another.]
[Skipping 1 minute of background noise, very likely the two preparing for close-quarters battle practice.]
Girge: See what I meant about the champagne, moonlight, and comfortable bed?
Cowper: Mhmm. Now, let's put it to the test.
[Skipping 4-6 hours of various noises. Bug operators were significantly distracted and failed to log the time when skipping the hours.] (NOTE: Sell footage from camera bugs.)
[Noise coming from bed, followed by a deep-voiced yawn.]
[Bug picked up rustling from bedside table.]
[Clinking noise. Likely a Zippo lighter being used to light a cigarette.]
[Feminine-sounding yawn.]
Cowper: Hey.
[Skipping 3 seconds of silence.]
Girge: I love you.
[Skipping one second of silence.]
Cowper: I love you, too.
[Skipping 1 minute of silence.]
Girge: I hope Harry doesn't mind... this.
Cowper: Pfft, I bet wouldn't anyone gives a shit if I used the Command Console to announce it.
[End Recording.]
